I wanna open up a woman's only gym/community in the DMV. I know there's a few spaces in the area Starfit I believe it's called and there's a new one opening up in NOVA Bodylab fitness. Wanted to get everyone's thoughts on this. How important is a woman's only space for you all? What would you like to see in a space like this?

Wanted to get everyone's thoughts on this. How important is a woman's only space for you all? What would you like to see in a space like this?
I recently graduated with a double major in Finance and International Relations. During my final semester, I took a class on global electricity markets, and it completely changed what I wanted to do. We covered ISOs/RTOs, wholesale electricity markets, market design, energy finance, transmission, regulation, and the economics behind power systems, and I realized this is the field I want to build my career in.
Since graduating, I’ve mainly been looking at regulatory affairs and energy finance roles, but I’m wondering what other career paths I should be considering.
A few things about me:
- I have experience in the federal government, private equity, and building my own side ventures.
- I enjoy both policy and finance, but I also like understanding the technical side of things.
- I don’t want a job where I’m sitting behind a desk all day. I enjoy getting out into the field occasionally, meeting people, seeing projects firsthand, and being involved in operations.
Long term, I’d like a career with strong compensation growth and good exit opportunities.
For those of you working in this space what roles would you recommend someone with my background look into? Are there any career paths that are underrated or that you wish you had known about earlier?
