First watch, just finished season 7

Okay maybe I’m in the minority, but I didn’t hate season 7 as much as everyone talks poorly about it. I thought the leviathans were an interesting season-long evil enemy.

Do I wish we found out more background on them? Yeah. Am I sad about the losses from the season? Yeah. Was it my favorite season? No. Did I still enjoy my time watching the show? Yeah!

I’m just curious why I always see so much season 7 hate when it really wasn’t that bad imo. I’m sure this is talked about quite a bit, so apologies if this song and dance has been done before.

Repost: Go Wild pass unavailable for an open flight?

Reposting to drop a photo.

Why is Go Wild unavailable for this flight??

Y'all, please tell me if I’m tripping. I purchased the Go Wild pass for the summer after my annual pass expired and I’m trying to book a flight that has open seats. When I press Go Wild, it says the flight is unavailable. This isn't a blackout date, it’s for a one way domestic flight in August. Also, I’m online, not in the app.

Do I need to call customer service? Or did the reimplement timing on when you could book Go Wild tickets? What’s the point of this pass if I can’t use it?

Edit: Yeah, so there were really only 2 helpful comments on this thread that answered my question. According to one of the commenters, some flights have a certain number of Go Wild seats they can sell, after that, they close GW bookings. While my flight seems to be empty (according to the choose your seats section), a commenter shared this doesn’t indicate how many people have actually booked the flight. I felt like my question was valid, given my previous experience having a GW pass for the last year, finding out this thread does not agree. Yikesss

Looking for books by black female authors

I was on threads this morning and saw a post asking people if they’ve recently read any books by black female authors. I thought to myself, surely in my 20 books I’ve read this year, or 50 I read last year, I have to have read one. I was unpleasantly mistaken!

With that realization in mind, I’d like to diversify my reading and hear some of your favorite books. I typically tend to skew towards historical fiction, thriller, WLW books, but open to people’s favorite recs.

Thank you for your time and recommendations! I appreciate you all!

(PS, sorry if this is a frequently asked question or there have been posts about this already, feel free to point me in those directions/add new recs too!!)

Edit: adding Sci-fi and litfic to my fav genres too!!! Y’all seriously did not disappoint with the recs. I have books lined up for the next year easily! Thank you so much for your time and thoughtful responses :) trying to respond to them all, but just know my Goodreads TBR has grown astronomically.

Howdy everyone! ACLR with quad graft. I had my 6 week post op appointment with my surgeon today and it went really well! I just wanted to share that it does get better and that putting in the work with PT makes ALL the difference.

My surgeon was super excited with my progress and gave me clearance to drive, swim, elliptical, treadmill, stair master (if I’m up for it lol) and travel. I’m still on one crutch and have a brace while walking, but really hoping I get cleared from them at PT on Monday!

If anyone has any tips for good pool workouts at 6 weeks, I’m all ears.

It’s crazy to think how slooooow the first two weeks were and how quickly things are going since. I can’t believe I’ll soon be 2 months post op, and then (according to my surgeon) jogging at my next appointment in 6 weeks.

Anyways, hope everyone here is having a great day, and if you aren’t right now, know it’s okay, it will get better, and you’re still doing a great job :)

Howdy ACL fam. I was doing some pt stretches before bed and noticed that my surgical leg was itchy. It’s where I have numbness, so I itched it and honestly didn’t think too much of it and had my sleeve over it. After a few minutes I caught a glimpse of red so I moved my sleeve and saw this. (Photo of a red spot just above my ankle on my surgical leg)

I had my surgery just under 6 weeks ago, ACL with a quad graft and haven’t had any complications really thus far. I’m wondering if it’s just a fluke, maybe the nerves are coming back alive, or if it’s something else that I should be worried about. It’s a little warm to touch, but definitely not hot. I took a look and that’s the only spot on me that’s like it.

Thanks!
