Call me a sissy, IDC

Ever since 2.6 and 3.0 dropped, every time I start a new save, I have a dire wolf spawn in the pine forest on day 1-5. I'm usually still low level, so I'm not understanding why. I usually hunker down at night because I get so many ferals too. I thought nighttime was supposed to spawn 1 or 2 ferals early game. But no, I'll be hanging out in my little trailer or poi and a dire wolf will spawn right outside and just walk around. Is anyone else experiencing this? Every time I look it up online, people say it's very rare. But it's happened on my last 10-12 saves easily. The dire wolf doesn't even come in a horde or anything, it's just a lone dire wolf in the street. Kinda sick of it since I play permadeath now and I'd rather not deal with them on day 4 😂

Symptoms of diabetes?

Hi everyone,

I want to see if anyone has experience with cats with diabetes. My cat is small. She's always been petite. A few years ago she gained some weight and then lost it. Now she's eating profusely, to the point of throwing up and she's not gaining weight. She is also OBSESSED with water taps. She always has a full bowl of fresh water, but she resorts to clawing under our bathroom doors to drink from the tub/faucet and drinking dirty dish water to the point where she throws up. I had a maintenance man over to fix a toilet and she was desperately running into the bathroom to get into the toilet and on the sink. I carried her out and she was reaching for the counter to try and jump on it. We've given her dewormer and have seen none in her feces.

Can anyone give me some advice on this? I called a vet but they said they'd need to do X-rays, bloodwork, fecal test, UA and I don't think we can afford all of that.

We may be able to find a vet who can only do the blood work, but does anyone have advice? Is it expensive to manage the diabetes? Are there any other issues I could suspect with these symptoms?

Her diet consists of salmon dry cat food with no grains/fillers and a combination of wet food/water because again, she's obsessed with water.

Thanks everyone

What is this sound in the ocean 😭

I'm staying oceanfront on the Kona Coast in Hawaii and this noise is keeping me away. It's totally freaking me out. Any ideas? It plays towards the end of my video
