In response to the mega mix pack issue I keep seeing coming up

Loved this game but I'm done with it for the foreseeable future, I've been waiting for years and still no fix for this issue and the myriad of others. They could easily add something where there are proximity based penalties just like the home cave but they don't care. Rex next to a stego for 2 minutes without combat, boom you both die etc. Plus they keep doing everything but adding meaningful questing or actually engaging activities. Basically a gather sticks simulator until you get ganked by packs and then it's another joyful hour of "questing" to reach adult again. The worst part is the community honestly, constant mega mix packs and kumbaya circles where half the server sits and chats for hours instead of idk hunting and surviving.... I got jumped last time by a ton of people because I had the audacity to play it like a Dino survivor game. I never play rex I'm almost always an herb honestly but decided I'd try to raise a rex to adult. Finally did and played it ambush style and snuck around the map for damn near an hour before getting a good target and did my thing. Surprised the guy and got him, big mistake because he went ballistic in chat calling me a kitty(polite version) and saying I didn't have the balls to challenge him to a duel and a fair fight... It's a Dino simulator and we're supposed to hunt and be hunted not stand around talking and dueling. Then about 10 people immediately ganked me. Such a fun way to play, I honestly don't think alderon gives a crap about the community at this point but I really honest to God hope I'm wrong and they pull their heads out of their collective keisters(pg13 enough for this sub?). The last thing we need is more dinos and TLC's right now imo, we need meaningful content, maybe not completely desolate lakes, rivers, ocean, maybe some realistic mechanics like the Isle offers like tracking and night vision based on species etc so we can actually hunt instead of aimlessly meander around the map or camp hot spots.

Let the hate commence.....

Anyone else feel like the community in game is pretty toxic and negative in general? I love the game and I enjoy the PVP aspect but damn it's like playing in a cod lobby back in the early 2000's. Earlier I had a random guy in his mid to late 20's calling everyone a fag and that we were all his bitches while tbagging... Also had a guy get super bent out of shape that I was looting the same chests after him. I literally waited until he was done looting so he could take what he wanted and he was so weird about it. I've ran into the same druid before and he's always angry at someone for something. I called him on it and was like you're weird AF for being mad about it and he was like "well you're up my ass" I'm sorry but there's only so many things to loot in a room dude. I almost wish there wasn't chat because every other game is grown men acting like 12 yo's. I guess that's just the type of people pvp focused games attract? Once again I love the game I'm just tired of some of the player base, seems like a lot of bitter people that take the game was too seriously. Had another guy start the spectral Knight and tell us not to even try and it would faster by himself and then he proceeded to die immediately XD. Idk why we can't just enjoy the game, i don't even care if I die it's just part of the game. Just not how I remember the game being when it first came out...

I've never foraged burdock before but was fairly certain this was it. Can anyone confirm this?
