Help with grooming routine for a poodle mix

Hello! We adopted our sweet floofy girl a month ago. We assumed she had some poodle in her for sure, but DNA confirmed 54% standard poodle! Plus some Pittie/stuffy and a few other things in the mix. She’s awesome.

First time owning a poodle of any sort. Need guidance on grooming. She has soft wavy-ish fur, and I can tell she’ll need a trim especially around the paws. But I don’t want them ever going too short because she has pale skin under all that fluff!

How frequently should we have her in to the groomer? And what guidance should we give?

Side note - we have given her baths and generally wipe her and use soft brush. But any sort of trimming is not within my skill set lol (though I did trim some longer face hairs that were getting into her eyes).

Will share pics in comments. 💜

Our gorgeous new pup! She is a rescue from Louisiana. Currently ~6 months, 30 pounds. Long lean build, soft wavy fur that doesn’t seem to shed much. Amazing temperament, Velcro dog for sure, so sweet and affectionate, gentle and polite, adores kids. Great with other dogs. Eager to please and picking up on training very fast. Mostly pretty calm but can get bouncy and typical zoomies, and into occasional mischief (she loves shoes!). Notices birds and small animals on walks but doesn’t go nuts. She seems to warm up quickly to new people and places, and is so chill even in busy environments like kids soccer games. Occasionally she’ll let out a soft little bark when new people approach the house, so I’m sure some protective instincts will kick in as time goes on, but so far no strong traits that lead me into any specific breeds!

She was listed as a Lab Poodle Mix. AI says English Setter mix.

We ordered a dna test! Can’t wait to see her results. Until then, we love getting to know her and hearing all the guesses!
