Thinking about joining wrestling as a junior, curious on how important memorization for moves and techniques coming from someone with no idea or experience is?

I’ve always admired the sport of wrestling starting at the mental/physical toughness and the hard work that you put in that can pay off. Although, I’m not sure on how any of it works, more specifically the moves or point system. Also the fact that I’m not a very smart guy when compared to most others. Not to say I’m completely stupid but I am a very slow learner and with the added fear of letting others down I’m curious how hard it is to learn. I understand you’re not going to be perfect at the start and it really does take time and dedication I’m just more interested how hard it is to learn.
