Mail call today- Bahamas

Living in Australia and I got this set (2.87 oz ASW) for the equivalent of 136 USD. Definitely real silver, it’s just very toned and missing the 25c piece which is base metal anyways

The $5 is very heavy (apparently it has 1.25 oz of silver inside it) and it’s bigger than most of the coins I have. It’s way bigger than the crowns and even the Perth mint kangaroo bullion coins

In terms of the design I like the flamingo $2 the best but the 50c with the swordfish looks pretty as well

I’m not sure how other stackers treat their base metal coins that were acquired incidentally with silver sets, but I usually don’t care about them and consider selling them to bring down my average dollar cost. I’ll actually keep these because their shapes look special (and 15c is a weird denomination). Plus it’s kind of funny seeing Patrick next to Spongebob’s house.

Got this set for $190 when it contains 2.87 oz of silver. Missing the 25c but it’s a steal at $66/oz. The chonky $5 in the middle is huge, it’s bigger than the crowns or even the Perth kangaroos we have which I assumed were the largest you can get

I don’t usually pay much mind to the base metal coins I get along bargain sets, but they do have some interesting shapes. They got a 15c coin that’s square for some reason and their 10c looks like a Hong Kong coin
