[Tomt] Foreign movie in English, on Prime, about a device that allows them to see ghosts?
[SOLVED]
I only saw the start of this and fell asleep, I have no watched history to find it.
It mostly focused around 3 people who I think where college students? I couldn't pick the accent, but it was European of some sort.
The main character was male, has long brown hair. He was in a car accident (not shown) that killed his girlfriend. He is working on a VR program where he can see an image of her via VR glasses like she's in his room sitting on a chair. She can pretty much only smile and nod. It reveals she's a VR thing when the program glitches.
His two friends at school, or work? Are an asain guy, and a girl who is most likely going to end up his love interest.
They ask him to join them for Friday night drinks, but he ends up in an abandoned part of tye campus or whatever it is, and finds a device that can detect ghosts. The device has a black and green scanner thing on it, with that radar thing that scans clockwise and shows dots where its detecting ghosts.
He ends up taking the device, and telling the other two about it. The girl reveals her apartment is a safe place to test the device because it has a ghost where everytime someone puts a book back on the shelf, it ends up back on the floor upright and open.
The opening of the movie had three guys using the device and end up being taken away by the ghosts they've found... one of those scenes where they hit the floor, and an invisible presence drags them by the feet across the room into darkness.
Its on PRIME but I cant remember the title to watch the rest.

KR future concept idea?
Excuse the AI slop for the video, i wasnt trying to make a fake trailer or look convincing, its just a rough idea I have had for years.
Thinking about how theres been 2 unsuccessful KR continuation/soft reboot shows that lets face it, didnt live up to expectations with a lot due to nothing feeling as cool and futuristic as the original series, and taking into consideration that the 2008 series pretty much just had the same concepts, and the only thing that version seemed to do that the original couldn't was log into a satellite and project hologram video calls, its a wonder the show didnt captivate viewers new or old.
However, the one thing I thought was why the nanotechnology was restricted to just keeping KITT bulletproof, and changing shape and colors... I thought, if KITTs really going to utilise the nanotechnology, why does it have to be restricted to only a vehicle form?
What if the nanotechnology could also be used for KITT to give Michael a suit of armor? Upping Michael to be .... well, I dont wanna say Super Hero, I dont think the franchise should go in that direction, but a suit that aids him fighting criminals who operate above the law. Itd also help coming up with new stories and plots where it feels more like KITTs involved in other ways rather than just crashing through walls and providing protection to hide behind.
I dunno, what do you think, could thos concept be the future for the franchise to bring it back, or is it just a stupid idea all together or sounds too Batman/Ironmanish?
