7 months solo. Launched 1 week ago. 1,060 users, no ads. Now looking for a few early backers.

Hey, first time posting here but been lurking forever.

Built Notopia solo over the last 7 months. AI productivity app, combines personal use and business management in one place: notes, projects, tasks, team workspace, AI woven through everything.

Just launched 1 week ago. Numbers so far:

  • 1,060 registered users
  • 640 monthly active
  • 247 AI calls per day
  • $0 spent on ads

Mobile app launches in App Store and Google Play in the coming weeks.

Here's where I'm at: organic is working, but I want to put real fuel on the fire before the mobile launch. In the coming months I'll be setting up the US entity and opening a larger round at significantly higher terms (target: $1-2M raise at $10-20M valuation). Before that, I'm opening a small slot for early backers at favorable terms.

Live dashboard available to anyone who DMs me. Real numbers, no smoke.

If you're an operator or angel who likes to back solo founders at the earliest stage, drop me a DM. I'll send a 2-page document, the dashboardand a quick walkthrough.

Open to any feedback on the product too.

Solo founder, AI productivity -notes app, 1000+ users in week 1 -opening small slot for early backers before US round

Hey everyone, first time posting something like this. Trying to keep it honest.

I've been building Notopia for the last 7 months. Solo. It's an AI productivity app: notes, projects, tasks, business workspace, with AI woven into everything. Works on web, mobile, desktop.

Launched 1 week ago. No ads. Just shared it organically.

Where it stands now:

  • 1,060 registered users
  • 640 monthly active
  • 18 paying subscribers
  • $360 MRR
  • 247 AI calls per day
  • $0 spent on advertising

Why I'm posting:

The product is working. Organic users keep coming in, conversion is happening, retention looks healthy. The mobile app launches in App Store and Google Play in the coming weeks, which is the moment to pour fuel on the fire.

In the coming months I'll be setting up the US entity and opening a proper round at significantly higher terms (targeting $1-2M raise at $10-20M company value).

Before that, I'm opening a small slot for early backers at favorable terms. Small ticket sizes, simple commitment letter signed quickly, formal share transfer happens through the US entity once it's set up.

Capital goes to: paid acquisition to amplify the organic growth, mobile launch budget, and US entity setup.

If this sounds interesting, DM me. I'll send the live dashboard, a quick product walkthrough, and a 2-page document with all the details. If it's not your thing, no hard feelings.

Thanks for reading.

Launched a notes SaaS at $9.99/mo (half of Notion) after 4 months solo. Full pricing breakdown, Business tier strategy, and Founders Edition logic.

Shipped Notopia last week after 4 months solo. It's a notes app (3D

Mind Palace + AI in 9 places + gamification, half of Notion's price)

but I want to focus this post on the SaaS side since that's what this

crowd cares about.

Pricing structure:

Personal

- Free tier (limited notes + 3 AI credits/day)

- Pro: $9.99/month or $79.99/year (50 AI credits/day, all features)

- Founders Edition: $195 one-time, capped at 200 users

(Business Solo tier for 1 year + lifetime founder identity)

Business

- Business Solo: $29.99/month per workspace

- Business Pro: $79.99/month per workspace

- Business Studio: $199.99/month per workspace

- Annual plans get ~17% off across the board

Why $9.99 Pro instead of matching Notion at $20:

The category overcharged for years. Notion is a database with a text

layer on top, and most users pay $20 to use 15% of it. I priced

intentionally low to make the switch frictionless. $9.99 is the line

I want to hold, even at scale. If my unit economics break later,

that's a me problem, not a user problem.

Why Founders Edition at $195:

- Hedge against month 2 churn (year of Business Solo at monthly rate

= $360 value for $195)

- Lifetime founder identity stays after year 1: Founder Wall, roadmap

voting, locked pricing forever, direct line to me, permanent founder

number, Founder Lounge access

- Currently 4 of 200 taken, so it's testing the demand without burning

the goodwill of charging more

Platforms launching in parallel:

- Web live at notopia.co

- macOS and Windows desktop apps shipping via Tauri

- iOS submitted to App Store, launching in 1-2 weeks

- Android on the roadmap

Stack for the curious: Next.js 15, Supabase, TipTap, Tauri, Expo SDK

55 for mobile, Polar for payments (will add Stripe + RevenueCat soon),

GPT-5.4 Mini and Nano for AI, text-embedding-3-small for semantic

search.

What I'm still figuring out:

- Whether Founders Edition fills in 30 days or 3 months drives my

Q3 roadmap directly

- Whether to layer usage-based AI credit packs on top of flat tiers

or keep things simple

- Distribution outside organic. Reddit is my first real channel,

paid ads in Q3 maybe

Solo founder based in Antalya, no co-founder, no funding, no team.

Just me, Claude, and a lot of late nights.

notopia.co

Happy to break down any of the pricing decisions, the Founders

mechanics, or why I picked Tauri over Electron. This community taught

me half of what I know about SaaS economics, so genuinely curious

what you'd push back on.

Spent 4 months solo building a notes app with a Mind Palace Feature, an AI cat and 9 AI features. Just launched v1.

Been working on this solo for the past 18 months. Launched v1 last week

and finally feel okay sharing it.

It's called Notopia. Short pitch: a notes app where your writing

literally builds a 3D Mind Palace, and there's a cat named Ares that

reacts to your writing streak. Sounds weird I know, but it solved my

own problem of notes feeling like a graveyard nobody visits.

What's inside:

- Mind Palace: an isometric 3D room that grows with what you write.

Every note becomes part of a space you can revisit

- Ares: a digital cat companion that tracks your writing habit.

Skip a day and he notices

- AI in 9 places: brain dump to structured note, auto-tagging,

summarize, write assist, slash commands, semantic search, chat

with your notes, smart templates, web clipper

- Gamification: XP, levels, streaks, achievements

- 29 slash commands, Pomodoro, Zen mode, PDF export, tables,

callouts, embeds, all the standard editor stuff

- Personal mode for individuals, Business mode for teams (workspaces,

shared palaces, team analytics)

Platforms: web is live at notopia.co. macOS and Windows desktop apps

out now via Tauri. iOS app is in TestFlight, App Store launch in the

next 1-2 weeks. Android is on the roadmap.

Tech stack for the curious: Next.js 15, Supabase, TipTap, Tauri,

Expo SDK 55 for mobile, GPT-5.4 Mini and Nano for the AI features,

text-embedding-3-small for semantic search.

Pricing is $9.99/month for Pro, basically half of Notion. Free tier

exists too. Business plans start at $29/month per workspace but free for now.

I'm a solo founder based in Antalya. Built this because Evernote

felt like it was dying and Notion got too heavy for actual writing.

Wanted something that made me want to come back, not just open out

of obligation.

Site: notopia.co

Happy to answer anything about the build, the stack, the design

decisions, the Mind Palace tech, or why I picked a cat over a dog.

PS - two things if anyone's curious: there's a Founders Edition open

for the first 200 supporters, and the Business tier is in free beta

until mid-July if your team wants to try it. Both on the site, not

pushing either, just mentioning since people asked elsewhere.
