[Hobby] Luminara Park — Psychological Horror Game Seeking Programmer, Texture Artist, Concept Artist & ARG Designer

Hey everyone! I'm Azog, the solo dev and creative director behind Luminara Park — a first-person psychological horror game built in Unreal Engine 5 with chapter-by-chapter releases, inspired by the likes of Poppy Playtime and FNAF. Set in an abandoned 1990s theme park, the game follows a dark corporate conspiracy involving consciousness extraction, a chemical compound called W-1, and an entity called SOL made up of 11,247 merged human consciousnesses.
Alongside the game we have a fully active ARG running at luminarapark.com with a growing community already cracking codes, finding hidden pages, and piecing together the lore. We've got VHS analog horror videos on YouTube, hidden puzzle pages, in-universe emails, and more. This is a passion project with serious vision and an already engaged audience.
We currently have a small team including concept artists, environment artists, a script writer, sound designer, voice actors and a programmer — but we're looking to expand with a few specific roles:

🖥️ UE5 PROGRAMMER

We need someone comfortable working in Unreal Engine 5 to help build out Chapter 1 gameplay systems — interaction mechanics, door/puzzle triggers, atmosphere systems. Some experience with Blueprints or C++ preferred. Our game is a slow-burn horror experience so it's less about complex combat and more about environmental interaction and tension-building.

🎨 TEXTURE ARTIST

We need someone who can create high quality PBR textures for in-game environments — specifically 90s theme park aesthetics. Concrete, weathered wood, aged metal, faded signage. If you love making things look worn, eerie and real, this is the role for you.

✏️ CONCEPT ARTIST (2nd)

We already have a concept artist on the team but are looking for a second to help with additional character and prop designs. We have a rich lore with in-universe technology (W-1 dispersal devices, LUMEN extraction headsets, guest compliance scanners) and characters that need designing. 90s analog horror aesthetic is a big plus.

🧩 ARG / PROP DESIGNER

This is a unique role — we're looking for someone creative who can help design physical and digital ARG props. Think fake Wondercraft employee manuals, in-universe equipment documentation, classified memos, hidden puzzle elements. If you love lore-building and making fake things feel horrifyingly real, this is for you.

This is an unpaid hobby project for now, fully credited. We have an active Discord community (Wondercraft Archives) and a dedicated team who are genuinely passionate about what we're building.

If you're interested in any of these roles drop a comment or DM me! Portfolio or examples of past work are helpful but not required — passion and commitment matter more.

[Unpaid] Looking for video editor for analog horror ARG project — orientation tape visuals

Hey! I'm working on an analog horror ARG called Luminara Park, A abandoned theme park, corporate horror, children's consciousness extraction. Think FNAF meets Poppy Playtime but darker.

I have a fully produced 4 minute orientation tape audio track already done by a voice actor and I need someone to help create the visual side : VHS effects, text overlays, tracking lines, that Threshold Dynamics style analog horror aesthetic.

The project already has an active community solving it at luminarapark.com and a Discord. This is a passion project so no pay unfortunately but full credit and you'd be part of something really cool.

If you're interested drop a comment or DM me!

Found this in the Wondercraft internal archive. Conditioning Room B. 1974.

Been building Luminara Park for a while now and wanted to share one of the darker pieces of lore we've uncovered. This is CCTV footage from LH-SITE-03 — one of 14 Lumi's Home facilities operating under Wondercraft Enterprises. 1974. The children in this room had no idea what was happening to them.

There's a lot more where this came from. The ARG is live and players are already deep in it.

Luminara Park is a first-person psychological horror experience built in Unreal Engine 5. Following our public launch and the positive reception of our initial teasers, we are expanding the team to bring Chapter 1 to life. The project features a deep corporate conspiracy involving Wondercraft Enterprises and the mysterious PROJECT ETERNUS, supported by a live ARG at luminarapark.com.

The Project So Far

  • Progress: Full lore bible complete, Chapter 1 level design blocked out, active GitHub repository, concept art in progress, and original music tracks by our composer
  • The Vibe: Abandoned 90s indoor theme park meets glitch-heavy psychological horror
  • The Team: We have a dedicated group of programmers, designers, and artists, but we need these specific specialized roles to finish the vision

Roles Needed

  • Concept Artist (2nd): To support our lead concept artist. Focus on environments, props, and character design with a weathered 90s institutional aesthetic
  • Texture Artist: Experienced with UE5 material pipelines. Help nail the "decayed 90s theme park" look across park assets, sublevels, and environmental storytelling
  • Voice Actors: We are looking for a range of voices including a cold sentient AI, a distressed ESU field officer, corporate personnel, and a child's voice for archive recordings
  • Animator: Character and cutscene animation experience preferred. Roles include SOL's mechanical movements, StarLight Buddy behaviours, and environmental animation across Chapter 1
  • UI/UX Designer: Help design BYTE's in-game interface, the ESU dispatch terminal UI, inventory systems, and any in-world screen elements. UE5 experience preferred but not required

Requirements & Compensation

This is a hobby/volunteer project. While there is no financial compensation at this stage, all contributors receive full credit across all platforms and within the game itself.

Note: We prioritize quality. Please include a link to your portfolio or demo reel in your DM. Requests without a portfolio will not be considered.
