Do they include the pages allluding to the origin boxes? (2 from 39 and 1 from 42)
So as you know variants usually are meaningless but there’s two types that matter at marvel
• Foreshadow variants: teases upcoming stories/series, stuff that ARE NOT in the issue but will happen Ex: OWUD 9 variant teased Armageddon, Cap 11 variant teased the next arc, Miles 42 variant teased Ultimate Impact
• Spoiler variants teases stuff ON the issue
Ex: Venom #256 had a variant that alluded to Paul’s death in a cheeky way, Ultimate One Year In one had
Wolverine as that’s his first appearance
Now, both Endgame 5 and Finale have FORESHADOW variants, not Spoiler
The endgame one could ofc tease finale but what could finale one be? As it’s not the issue itself, if it was they’d use SPOILER variant.
Ofc this could be a editorial oversight, they not knowing when to use “foreshadow” or “spoiler” but it’s so weird for this to break the foreshadow variant pattern

How come the same issue show two pairs of em without acknowledging, first we see Hostilicus with them but later Max and Lola receive it via a origin box
The explanation I see is maybe the Hostilicus part is a flashback (from like 2023 when the maker was free) and The Maker defeated him later stealing the Nega-Bands, and that’s why he goes to 616, to retrieve them after receiving a signal of them being used or something
