I am going through some post-birthday depression. Just got out of bed at 7pm after doing nothing all day with an assignment due tomorrow. Feed me your wisdom, tell me your tales, or make jokes to cheer me up.
I’m pretty sure I’m just mentally harming myself. I just want a break from this stupid brain. This is such shit timing as well because my partner is going through the worst time of his life so we are struggling to support each other. I feel so guilty, I wish it was easier to seek help in my country.
I have searched everywhere for the audio of this. It’s just a recorded fairytale in Russian, and I remember it used to creep the absolute fuck out of me because of the voice, sound effects, and the helplessness of the Hunter once he turns into a seal.
I don’t know what year it would be from, but I was a kid growing up in late 2000’s Belarus. I remember listening to this over and over again when I had a fever.
It basically starts off with a hunter brutally hunting seals or sea lions, and he magically turns into one and it’s just torture for him. That’s all I remember, it’s a cautionary tale and it’s so creepy. I have tried to Google everything and no luck so far.
