Update on Circe, abandoned kitten found 2 weeks ago

From 240g to 541g! We have put on some massive gains! Eye infection gone, on a dewormer, vet says she's doing fantastic. She does have a cold that has been persistent but no signs of pneumonia or anything serious. I am having a hard time getting her to take wet food, as she really just wants the bottle, but hopefully within the next couple of weeks. Poop is also finally solid! Just thought I'd post in case anyone who gave me advice on my previous post was wondering. Pics from 2 weeks ago for growth reference.

Neo-Poly-Dex use for dog diagnosed with glaucoma?

My senior dog(19) was prescribed NPD drops for daily use at the start of the year to treat red, itchy and irritated eyes. It worked for a while, but just Thursday she came down with severe eye swelling, redness, and inability to open her eye or eyes at times, even. I discontinued the drops that night and the following day, and things seemed to have got better. There was also wheezing and trouble breathing involved- Saturday morning I gave her the drops because her eye seemed a bit red and irritated- and that afternoon, the same episode happened. We went to the emergency vet, and they diagnosed her with a possible glaucoma, and bronchitis perhaps to explain the wheezing. I completely stopped giving her the NPD drops despite the emergency vet telling me to just continue if it was prescribed by our regular vet. Today(she is opening both eyes again, but very clearly has pain, swelling) we saw a specialist for eyes, and they prescribed dorzolamide hydrochloride because her left eye has severe pressure ; some readings up to 80, and a different drop for cataracts in her right eye since that one had regular pressure. They told me to continue using the NPD drops as well, because unlike humans, it is fine to use steroid based treatments in dogs that have a glaucoma. I don't want to doubt the experts, but I really just want to double check before starting the NPD drops again. Is this okay?

Advice on Kitten I found in the gutter

Sunday on my walk to the gym, I found what I think is a ~2 week old kitten in the gutter. I searched all around for a mother, waited ~20 minutes from a distance to see if the mom was around, but it was already 95F out and getting hotter, so I made the decision to take the kitten. I've been bottle feeding her- I watched a lot of videos on it, on tummy, head forward, don't force and let her take it. My fiance thinks she might be aspirating now because she is making a clicking sound at times, and after feeding, but I think it might be a cold? When I found her, she had goopy eyes and I have to clean her eyes multiple times a day or they crust shut. I'll attach photos for reference. My question is, is this an emergency? Be it a cold, or aspiration? I have a vet appointment tomorrow at 2:20. She's eating fine, sleeping, pooping and peeing. I don't think there's an emergency- but want peace of mind for my fiancé who is very concerned after hearing the clicking/gargle.

Weight for reference - she was 253 grams on Sunday morning.

How long does it realistically take to build a good base? I keep getting sick!

I started running last year late October early November ish. I was putting in 25~40 miles a week, and did my first marathon on new years eve. It took me out completely for a week, but I came back strong and was able to slowly(over the course of a month) up my mileage to ~60 a week. I did my first ultra in late February(50k, 31 miles)- and that also hit pretty hard. I could tell my hormone levels were in the dump, and energy in general wasnt great. I guess it probably didnt help that I kept running for a few days after that ultra, because initially I felt fine. I'm running into an issue, and I'm wondering if it's related - I've been sick more this year than I have been in the last 4 years combined. Am I stunting my immune system here? Am I just doing too much too fast? If so, how long does it realistically take to be able to do a consistent 40~50 miles a week with at marathon or ultra here and there, without constantly getting sick? Also, of course I had some tendon issue, bone issues(shins), but I make sure to take time off whenever something like that occurs. Do you guys have any general input? And, is this even allowed in this sub? Didn't see a question flair.

How to best utilize over the rainbow?

How are you guys grinding out this event? Is tech hard the go to? Crom/glenn basic solo? I can't imagine the drop rate is very high for advanced hardmode. What am I after and how should I best grind it, essentially

Worth anything? Pumpkin hat, devcat earmuff

Hey y'all- I was going through some pet inventories and found some really old event items. The pumpkin mask from the 2008 event, and the devcat earmuffs(type 2?) From the watermelon smashing event in 2009? 2010? I wasn't sure if these items are worth anything or not, so thought I'd ask. I'll attach the images. I also had a question about the Phoenix earmuffs- I think i got it from the Phoenix rebirth event in 2011(?), but I saw that one was re-released quite a few times.

General questions regarding current state of the game for giants(if that matters)

I just came back from a 10 year hiatus and had a few questions

What's the best arcana for giants? I'm assuming EK - it seems to be incredibly strong overall, but are there any others that come close? Is Sacred Guardian considered useful for any endgame content? Is arsenal gunner good on giant? Does the race of your character even come into play anymore besides giant no range elf no lance?

Is the perseus gear going to be the next best in comparison to NB? is there a reason to craft/look for anything else? What armor sets should I be after if I'm EK/Sacred Guardian?

To craft NB, at least if doing Crom Basic, seems like it will take a century. Are the material drops normal much higher than basic?

The difficulty gap between basic and normal seems immense ; I can solo Glenn basic as is, but normal felt like a literal 10x increase in hp, defense, prot. Is it the same for Crom?

Any tips for returning players in general? Best way to farm gold, best dungeons to grind? Is Rabbie phantasm with the increased reward/difficulty worth spamming if weeklys are capped?

Thanks for your time in advance, guys 🤝

Insight? Advice?

Let me start by saying I had what I think was a mild infestation nearly a year ago(October of last year was the last time I had found anything. Treated house multiple times with advion wdg, bait paste, getrol), but about a month and a half ago I found a nymph, and treated the condo with advion wdg and getrol point again. I've had glue traps out(behind the fridge, under the stove, under the sinks, various other places.) Since July of last year. They have been and are still empty. My partner sometimes stay with her parents, and about a month and a half ago she spent a week over there, and had took her bag there and back, and the next day was when I found the nymph. I hadn't seen anything since, but yesterday her brother visited and brought a couple boxes of her things she had over there- today I found 3 nymphs. One in the area the box was placed, but 2 in the bathroom. One was dead in the cabinet, another bigger nymph was under the bathroom mat(moving quite slowly). They say they've never seen any roaches in their home ; is it likely that I have an active infestation still that has completely evaded glue traps throughout the year, a neighboring unit is acting up, or could they possibly be hitchhiking on boxes and bags that come in? I want to clarify, I have only found nymphs. I can't find a single adult roach or any droppings, or anything. I took out all the drawers, looked behind every appliance, checked all glue traps- nothing. Is it possible there could be an infestation in her car? And when a box or container sits in there, they tag along? If so, how do I rule that out? What am I looking for?
