Help me out guys
I’m 25M and she’s 24F. She went through a breakup 10 months ago, and we have been talking as friends for the past 3 months. She was in a 6-year relationship, but her ex cheated on her with multiple girls for around 3 years and was also addicted to alcohol, so she broke up with him.
Even after the breakup, her ex constantly texts and calls her, emotionally blackmails her with suicide threats, and even gives death threats. His family also calls her and scolds her. She has no one to properly support her.
She is currently in an important stage of her life, studying hard for her CA exams, but she has lost her peace of mind and is unable to focus on her studies. Her family is poor and depends on her future success.
The current problem is that if she doesn’t reply to his texts or attend his calls, he starts calling her parents and sister. They don’t know about the full situation, and if they find out, they may stop her from continuing her studies.
Yesterday, he called her and told her that she must come and meet him tomorrow. She has already met him before, and he even beat her for no reason. I don’t think he just wants to talk this time either.
I cannot directly involve myself in this matter because I recently cleared the Sub-Inspector exam, and if any legal issue or case arises from my involvement, it could affect my career. At the same time, we cannot file a police complaint because eventually her parents may come to know about everything.
So, what should I do in this situation?
