Question for married couples.

If most of my debt is in my name, I can declare bankruptcy and leave my wife’s credit intact?

Wolf in HR clothings

Laid off twice in 2 years.
56 year old white male. After a 10 year career in NYC got laid off due to COVID re-organization and took a pay cut and moved to ATL. Worked for 3 years until my company was bought by private equity and I was laid off for younger/ cheaper help, after I was told you should train so and so just in case your on vacation or on PTO. Freggin coward move.
Anyway landed a better job (work/life balance anyway) again had to take a slight pay cut. Not so much pay, the company didn’t subsidize my wife’s health insurance, just mine so that was like half my check. Everything was going great. We moved into a new building with future expansion in mind and I got my own office with my name etched into the glass door.
About a month ago we got a new girl to take care of “ HR things”…little did I know she was actually an efficiency consultant. Our boss set up 1 on 1’s and then she sat in on our staff meetings…sounded odd at the time, but later all made sense. I was busy all day but one of our brands did take a hit and had to close and from what the marketing team released we continually have been missing our goals.
Anyway Wednesday at 8:30 am my boss texted me on my personal phone, hey did you see I put a meeting on your calendar for 9:30. I jumped on and the HR girl was the first one on there before my boss and knew I was cooked. Because I only worked a year only 3 weeks severance and insurance until the end of the month.
Not gonna lie, I’m panicking. We’re living check to check, cards are just about maxed already. Even if I found a position tomorrow…the hiring process would take at least three weeks…and I keep reading how people have been out of work for months. Any advice or encouraging words?

Trust me! There is a light at the end of the tunnel..

Im 56/ male and I had 3xCABG on 2/4/26. I went down playing hockey, right there on the ice with zero symptoms. Not gonna lie the first couple weeks were very uncomfortable, I was never in pain and didn’t need anything more than Tylenol.
Couple/ few things I’ve learned in my recovery.
Mentally whatever diet or choices otherwise has brought me here and I have a second chance to change.
My doctor told me you can’t out diet, out medicate or out exercise your genes. It’s called the silent killer for a reason.
Cardiac rehab is a must. I embraced it and loved every minute of it. Forced to go to the gym, held me accountable.
I had a goal in mind…I would love to play hockey again come November, so that was my prize.
I continued the gym after rehab. Too much time and effort invested to stop now. There could literally be no tomorrow so get up and just do it. That’s my mantra.
Monday was my stress test…10 and a half minutes, finished at 16% incline and 4.5 mph. Completed with flying colors. Was told some people without CABG can’t finish it. Fully cleared to continue playing hockey.
If you’re going through it right now and it’s tough…you will get there…keep grinding and putting in the effort. Your heart and your family will love you for it.

Life insurance

Curious if anyone has tried to get life insurance after a CABG. I had pre-CABG, but heard we are uninsurable. Is that true?

It’s not in the line of sight of the cameras it’s low on drivers side. Thoughts?

Wipers chatter

Recently got a 2023 M3S and today was the first time I had to use my wipers. There’s a noticeable chatter or jumpiness. I thought at first it was because there wasn’t enough rain but as it downpoured it was still there. Is that normal or is it a wiper blade thing?(im assuming the blades are new)

Dashcam Footage

So I’ve never needed it until now but had a close call with another driver and saw the footage and the jump to event of where I honked and it automatically recorded. How do I see footage after the event? Do I have to pull that from the flash drive?

I’ve read the description hundreds of times, looked at the light graph and still have no idea what it is or how to improve it. I’m up before sunrise many days and am in sunshine from the minute it’s up, and yet my score slider couldn’t be anymore to the left? Anyone have insight on how it improve this? Pre-sleep and sleep rhythm are excellent and sleep recovery is mid.
