SOLVED: it was just a bit of carbon/lead build up! sorry to jump the gun on searching for help!!

I ran my first competition with my comp on my M9A4 and as I clean it I noticed the barrel tip is chipped. The threading is still fine but this seems really odd to me.

During the competition a friend pointed out that there was jacketing stuck in the target as well and it only happened once.

My understanding was that this compensator is ready from the factory and doesn’t requiring timing, but I could’ve been mislead.

you can see some wear on the comp but I don’t know if this normal as well. the Barrel is what concerns me most though. is this a learning me moment or a fluke? any advice would help!
