Was playing Azran Legacy and i see this monstrosity appear on my screen, are there other layton characters as ugly or even uglier than this?

What am i doing wrong here?

I know the ps2 isnt broken, i've tested it on a tv.

Just want it to work on this older pc monitor, so i bought cabels for it!
