Silk and Soul quest won't trigger- please help

Ok, I am on the verge of giving up on this game just because of this stupid quest that won't trigger. The fleas have gone to fleatopia. I have done all wishboard quests in songclave, bellhart, and bone bottom, including the shakra quest. I have the threefold melody and have defeated lace 2 and grand mother silk, and have gotten the weaver queen ending. I have killed groal and obtained the seeker's soul. I have unlocked the bellhome in bellhart. I am almost more than certain I have done more than 17 quest points worth of sidequests by now. please help me so I don't have to fight savage beastfly again.

Thoughts on Boomerangs in Metroidvanias

So, lots of Metroidvanias center their combat on either beams/guns or swords. Recently sword metroidvanias are everywhere courtesy of Hollow Knight, but I curious if there were any metroidvanias where they use boomerangs, since they're kind of a mix of guns and swords, and if they were any good.

Thoughts/Suggestions on the art for my Cormac McCarthy inspired Metroidvania?

Note - the screenshots made the game seem super unsaturated for some reason. The game is more colorful, for some reason snipping tool screwed up the saturation. Thanks!

Is the art for my adventure-platformer-metroidvania-amalgamation "bad?"

I know that's a generic question but some of these sprites are really eating away at me and I wanted a second opinion because I thought it might just be my biased inner critic

Also, for some reason the screenshots appear super unsaturated, so the game is really more colorful than it appears here. Thanks for your time!
