Finally got my Model 1854 yesterday!! Shoutout to Stateline Guns Ammo & Archery in Plaistow for hooking up a MA resident without fussin’ about it.

Paid more than I hoped but apparently these are selling like hotcakes so deals are tough to find. No tax or MA premium though and I got it under MSRP so I am a happy camper!

Gave me a $1,300 cash price and cash discount on a bunch of ammo as well!! Great shop staffed by great people! (And an awesome german shepherd doggo)

I also ordered the PiewView M-LOK handguard rail from Ranger Point Precision! I love the traditional walnut stock but I think it will be sweet with this handguard, almost like the soviet PPSH sub machine gun aesthetic. Might get an eotech G33 magnifier too since eotech has a 25% off sale today 👀

My first radar note. I’m just a poor boy, can’t afford to set aside benjamins. Is this guy worth enough to not spend it like usual? Definitely has some wear but overall decent shape.

She had no idea 😂🤯 First thing I saw was the Spade Guinea which I immediately assumed was a fake.. until I pulled out the sovereigns next and knew I had to break out my jewelry scale.

Just recently learned of Full/ Half Sovereigns and have been wanting one as a somewhat affordable way to start stacking gold.. imagine my surprise finding 3 of them in an old crumpled ball of tissue paper tucked in a shoebox of forgotten coins nobody knew were worth anything!!

No idea if any of these command a premium above melt, just used that as a starting point to estimate the stash. I haven’t checked for mint marks or anything like that, let me know if there’s anything I should look for here!
