Construction on rupple road and mt comfort. Any ideas what it is? Behind maverick not the square/community hub theyve been working on. this would be across from Holt.

I noticed they've been clearing it for the past couple of weeks. Makes me think of the people that lived there prior that use to air glide and land there. Never knew what happened to them.

After will has returned the group plays a 10 hour session of the game, and when it ends everyone is upset because it felt lacking of an ending, with dustan pointing out things that were left out of the finale of the campaign. It got me thinking about season 5 and how many a people talk about the many "plot holes" that were left out of the finale, To me now rewatching this, I almost wonder if it was intentional to leave things up in the air. The story was about Will and El. Everything else was kind of filler? I for one loved season 5, there are a few thing I would of like to see finished like what happened with Dr. Kay. But the show is set up like one giant campaign each season. I almost wonder if it was intentional to do that.

I want to write this while it's fresh on the mine initial first thoughts without thinking too much about holes, or whatever faults.. like me realizing Murray didn't have a scene in the last hour. And the fact that Argyle, Dr Owens and Suzie were absent from season 5.

Happy endings? I remember seeing people complain about the final season, a point that I heard a lot was the lack of stakes, or people dying. And throughout the show I would look something up and accidentally get spoiled (hate that wish we could have a more guided wiki that would only show relevant content for the current season we are selecting in the wiki) which is why I knew that the mind flayer was going to be killed and shown in season 5. Cuz I remember getting to like 4 and wondering.. what happened to it. Avoiding google answers but the wiki just went full on details about it. Similarly I found out about Billy. And that might of been my impatient side, I wanted to know if Billy ever would be more helpful and the answer was straight up he redeemed himself in a sacrifice. So I stopped googling things after that.

To me though I think no matter what they would of done, keeping everyone alive or killing people off. No one is happy. You see it with walking dead, a lot of people fell out of that show killing everyone, even some fans went as far as death threats if you kill daryll or whoever else. I dont think it would of ever got that drastic but the point is I dont think they needed to kill main characters off to tell the story. They killed plenty of people that had some significance to the story. Barb, Bob, Billy, Eddie... eddie hurt a lot, the scenes with Dustin in season 5 were tear jerker scenes. Especially the fight with Steve and dustin. Max dying made it so much worse for me, Im glad they brought her back.. and it wasnt some easy thing either she was pretty much knocked out for the entire rest of the show until the finale. So while not a death it was a significant blow. and then there were others along the way, and actual people within hawkins that died from vecnas breach into hawkins. Stakes were there. A bit confused when people say there wasnt.

The fight scene with vecna/Mind flayer was cool. Speaking of vecna I really do like they tried to humanize Henry, almost gave me a Anakin/Vader thing.... almost. Im glad they didnt try to a whole redemption arch thing. Sometimes people being evil is all you need. But giving a reason as to why hes evil was very much appreciated. The pacing of the finale was a bit odd, I realized they killed vecna and we had an hour left I was like.. wait what? But it was nice to see them move on and be happy. After all the shit they went through they deserved it. And El Sacrificing herself made sense. I kinda predicted thats what they were going to do.. what Mike explained the scenario of eight illusionary casting her death. I for one Believe.

But now its over. And I wish I could see it all again without knowing anything. It was so emotional. Cried so many times. I wouldn't of changed anything. Well... I might of wished Hop would of shot that military woman.. with a shotgun.. into lava pit or something. Give one final nod. Linda Hamilton did a fucking fantastic job as an antagonist. It kinda sucks she was kind of tossed aside forgotten at the end.

I'm excited to see where they go from here. I might watch the animated series, go in with a similar open mind and ignore the hate its getting like season 5 got. Im really excited for the spin off whenever that comes.

But honestly 9/10 Season 5. 10/10 Show. Friends Don't lie..

I kinda wanna try to play dungeons and dragons.. anyone want to try?

▲ 14 r/Scream

Friend and I were talking about this, with the recent development of the Halloween game, and you know they had Friday the 13th. With as much success that the scream movies are.. how pop culture icon the mask is, you'd think they'd have some sort of game out by now. I am aware of Dead By Daylight. But I think a full fledged scream game would do very well. But my friend had the idea that instead of you just running around as the killer all the time you could actually play as a normal person. Similar to among us. It would have to be thought out because that could easily be process of elimination, maybe people would have tasks that would require them to seperate and be on opposite ends of the map and do things at the same exact time. And if people get suspicious, ghostface assuming theres more than one could "friendly fire" attack the teammate to avoid suspicion. Idk I think it would be cool, but defintely something that would take a lot of development to work on to make it balanced
