How does it look so far?

Had a lot of shock loss, but I can see all of the follicles which is great. My natural hair line was filled and lowered so I’m thinking it’s going to take longer to see real progress. Can’t wait for a color touch-up 💁🏽‍♀️

Snagged this preloved from Poshmark since it’s been sold out for a while. Misted her with a little shooting star and now she smells like a boutique. One day I’m going to wear the chain strap as a chunky necklace 😆

Yikes, I should have dived deeper into the side effects of PRP. Swollen from the forehead down. Looks like I had a second FUE 😫

My FUE includes 3 rounds of PRP injections. Today was round 1.

Post-op day 13. Saw the surgeon today. He said I can wash my hair with my normal shampoo which is Ketoconazole 2%. He said wait another week for a haircut and nothing on my head until he sees me at our next follow-up which is in 3 months. He also never assessed the donor site. What am I going to do??? I don’t want to walk around and go to work like this, especially since I’ll be going through shock loss soon. I was super excited about this but now I’m feeling down.

What med combo is ideal post HT..Minoxidil/Spironolactone or Minoxidil/Finasteride? I didn’t have a clear diagnosis prior to HT, other than iron deficiency anemia requiring IV infusions due to poor oral supplement absorption. I use 2% Ketoconazole shampoo and selenium sulfide topical lotion for Seborrheic dermatitis, which is controlled, but topical minox aggravates it. My goal is density and hoping my hairline will catch up with the back of my head. I’m post-op day 11 and can’t wait to wash my hair again.

I was reading through some posts and realized that post-op instructions tend to vary. I’m post-op day 6. Saw my surgeon today and he told me to continue to sleep upright with a neck pillow, don’t wash my hair, and absolutely nothing on my head, except saline mist to grafts. No sun, no sweating, no bending over, and no lifting anything heavy or more than 20 lbs for 2 more weeks. He wants to see me again in 1 week. Some seem to have more lenient instructions. Guess I’m just overthinking things.

Wondering how my donor site will look after it heals. I hope those bald spots will be covered and it won’t look so thin. Looks like I gave myself the worse haircut ever.
