Series X and VRR flicker on LG C2

So I’ve done a ton of Googling and from what I can tell the very light “flashing” that happens rhythmically is because of CPU bottleneck with the Series X. I’ve been working on a mod list for a couple weeks now and my testing went great having visuals setting at 60fps and VRR on (as well as freesync and gsync on my C2), no flashing. Then I decided to try and add some city expansions as well as mods that add NPC’s and that’s when it started happening.

The flashing/flickering happens in the menu and in cities, but is fine in space. Does this mean that I’m right at the cusp of too much CPU throttleage? Rather than just removing the recently added mods, is there an advantage to completely deleting reserved space and reinstalling the mods from scratch like with modding Skyrim?

Appreciate the help. I desperately want the VRR to work because Visuals/60 with VRR was super sexy.

Mods for Oled TV

So I haven’t played since launch, and I remember back then playing on my LG Oled and being underwhelmed with the color filter. I’ve seen the color filter remover and have learned a little about LUT, but still don’t feel totally confident on what I’m after.

For example, I found these Deep mods by Darkblood18 and it sounds like exactly what I want based on the description. Doing a combo with this and a lighting mod seems like the way to go. Here’s the link to one of them.

I’m super pumped because it looks like the game is in a much better spot than launch. Darkstar overhaul, PraxisUI, and other mods look high quality and will breathe new life into to the game for me.

So anyway, thoughts on some of these LUT mods, or what direction to go to get Oled HDR to look good? Gotta have those true blacks, especially in space!
