Yesterday, I downloaded EmuDeck on my Steam Deck, and got through most of the installation process before I got to the part about BIOS and games. I downloaded some PS2 BIOS, but that's as far as I got before I closed EmuDeck and went out. When I came back later, attempting to launch EmuDeck from the desktop produced the error "The desktop entry file /home/deck/Desktop/EmuDeck.desktop has no Type=... entry."
So today, I went to redownload EmuDeck, but Chrome is downloading to a nonexistent folder, /run/user/1000/doc/e2326a0a/Downloads. According to Dolphin, this folder does not exist, so I tried to change it to a folder that does exist, but it won't change, and attempting to manually save the file, but it doesn't save and gives no indication as to why.
I'm at my wits end and on the verge of a crashout. Did I fuck up the EmuDeck installation process and completely fuck up SteamOS? Do I have to reinstall Chrome? Am I missing something?
UPDATE: Disregard, disregard. Reinstalling Chrome worked.
