The Xfinity guide listings for MeTV Toons are screwed up, showing shows a day ahead. For example, the guide says that right now (9 PM PDT) is supposed to be Season 8 Episode 1 of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (AKA the first episode of the darker, edgier "Red Sky" seasons), but the episode on right now is the last episode Season 7. It also shows the Totally Animated '80s block airing on Friday night instead of Saturday night.
I think I've found a loophole to how MeTV Toons can show Disney cartoons:
The public domain. There's a bunch of Disney cartoons in it, most notably Steamboat Willie*, The Skeleton Dance,* all of the Oswald shorts that aren't lost, and everything Disney made specifically for the military.
Admittedly, most of the stuff in the public domain are the Alice Comedies, which are VERY old and silent (I've seen, like, one or two pre-code Betty Boop cartoons on MeTV Toons), but there should be enough material for occasional airings on Cartoon All-Stars.

Just now, the episode of Silverhawks had that end-of-episode space education segment. Normally, it isn't anything special, but this one was about Space Station Freedom. I couldn't help but chuckle at how dated it was; Bluegrass states that the station "will be operational by 1993"...which was the year the station was first put on hold by the Clinton administration for being too expensive, and then scaled down to become the US Orbital Segment of the modern-day International Space Station.
This may not seem like a big deal, but I had to share my thoughts somewhere.
After the update, the Flight Deck has been acting strange. I'm recreating a scenario from scratch because the old version used mods that haven't been updated yet (said scenario involves the Soviets attacking Reykjavik Air Base in the first minutes of WWIII to deny NATO use of ASW aircraft in the GIUK Gap, the opening mission in a large, multi-chapter, narrative-driven campaign based on the game WARNO), and when using the flight deck to ensure the carrier is combat ready, readying up a flight shows some unusual behavior:
I have no idea what is causing this behavior, it wasn't like this prior to the update. All incompatible mods have been disabled. Is this a bug with the game, or is something screwed up on my end?
Yesterday, I downloaded EmuDeck on my Steam Deck, and got through most of the installation process before I got to the part about BIOS and games. I downloaded some PS2 BIOS, but that's as far as I got before I closed EmuDeck and went out. When I came back later, attempting to launch EmuDeck from the desktop produced the error "The desktop entry file /home/deck/Desktop/EmuDeck.desktop has no Type=... entry."
So today, I went to redownload EmuDeck, but Chrome is downloading to a nonexistent folder, /run/user/1000/doc/e2326a0a/Downloads. According to Dolphin, this folder does not exist, so I tried to change it to a folder that does exist, but it won't change, and attempting to manually save the file, but it doesn't save and gives no indication as to why.
I'm at my wits end and on the verge of a crashout. Did I fuck up the EmuDeck installation process and completely fuck up SteamOS? Do I have to reinstall Chrome? Am I missing something?
UPDATE: Disregard, disregard. Reinstalling Chrome worked.
