Looking to replay Demon’s Souls, but I have a couple of questions:

1. Are boss weapons and other special weapons actually viable? On my first playthrough, I used the Moonlight Greatsword and had it fully upgraded, but it always felt really weak. I’m wondering if that’s just because the weapon isn’t very good, or if my build wasn’t optimized for it. Since these weapons can only be upgraded a few times, do they end up falling behind regular weapons?

2. Is it even worth making a dedicated build in this game? I remember hearing that builds aren’t nearly as important in Demon’s Souls as they are in the other Souls games. Should I focus on leveling for a specific build, or is it better to just upgrade a few weapons using whichever damage-type upgrade materials fit them?

Looking to go into engineering and I’m hearing everyone say it’s super hard and you have to be studying/ assignments 24/7 while others say it’s not as hard as people say.

The university I’m planning on going to offers a general engineering first year then you get to choose what you want to specialize in second year but I was thinking of doing either mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, or nuclear

Just curious what other peoples experience is and wondering if it’s actually non stop work or if I’ll be able to go out and go to the gym etc. * *Also wondering how much time you were studying vs working on assignments?

I’m a skinny guy in high school and I have successfully bulking for over 4 months now and it hasn’t been too hard or anything.

The thing is now it’s summer and you think that would make it easier to eat more but it’s been so much harder. When I had school I’d eat around 1300 cals though out school then another 1100 when I get home around 2:30. Then I’d have dinner around 6:00 PM and some snacks after. Now that it’s summer I have around 1000-1300 cals for breakfast and by the time I eat lunch I’m just so full I can barley eat anything it takes so long because I feel like I’m going to throw it all up every bite I take. I’ve tried pushing it later but it just dosent really work and then I’d be too full for dinner.

Maybe it’s because I’m waking up later and my meals are too close together . If anyone has any tips pls lmk

For the trophies where you need to obtain and listen to all records and also learn all gestures is it possible to do these in separate games. For example I’m missing the gesture you get from telling that guy in Rosa Isabell his puppet left a note so if I get that in another playthrough will I get the achievement. And same goes for records

Also how much humanity is needed to get the special ending. Is it possible to save scum from before talking to Sophia or does it depend on how many lies I say during the game?

I just finished the game for the first time and got the real boy ending but I’m a bit confused and I have some questions on what actually happened.

1. What happened to Sophia? I thought I chose the option for her to live because I thought she wanted to die and rest but I didn’t want that so I tried to save her but Gemini told me right after that she’s gone. Then I told Simon that I let her rest and fulfilled her wish because I wanted to lie to him. But I think she’s dead and I didn’t get the trophy where I learn the last story about her.

2. I also didn’t get the last story of Eugene but I didn’t think I missed any quests before and now she’s a puppet.

3. What actually happened during the ending I got? I was under the impression that from living and listening to records it would increase my humanity then I would slowly become a human. I chose for Geppetto to take my heart because I thought it would make me human even though I didn’t like him. From what I got from the ending Carlo is his son or something and wanted to bring him back so he used me as a puppet for that. And why did I kill everyone at the hotel? I don’t know if that’s actually how the ending is can someone pls explain that part?

4. I also thought that my hair would turn white the more humanity I got but it only got longer not white. What’s up with this?

5. The tree coming out of the nose in the painting. It grew and it’s pretty long now there’s golden leaves at the end but I still can’t interact with it did I not lie enough or something?!<

6. There was also a trophy for another boss that I didn’t fight is this an optional one I missed or tied to another ending?

If anyone can explain these I would greatly appreciate it I’m just really unsatisfied on how things ended but maybe that’s because I just didn’t understand what was happening
