Single mom with two teenage boys in my custody biweekly.

I have been dating mostly online since my divorce. I see men look at me all the time but usually they don't approach me in public. Or if they do it's something crazy like getting in front of my car at the gas station and screaming, "OMG, Are you married?"

Then online it seems like they just like what I look like and don't really care to get to know me at all. I appreciate the compliments on my appearance but I get that, and only that, so often that it's making me feel like just some coveted thing.

How do you get past that and actually connect with a guy? I feel like they are only interested in sex and I am looking for a relationship.

I tried to post this on the older dating sub but I don't have enough karma there 🤷‍♀️ For context I'm 37 with two teen kids 50/50 time. I was married, young, for 12 years and have not done much dating other than in the last two years.
