Hope you're doing well. Everything is set for Fall 1 and I have my first two classes set. I'll be kicking things off with:
1 - Bus 141
2 - Bus 231
My question for anyone who has taken these classes, what would you recommend doing early to get a headstart on these two classes? Any tips would be greatly appreciated...🙏🏿
I routinely see threads about courses that are better to take via ACE credits, but what are some courses better taken at UMPI?
I am elated to know that I just got accepted. I am definitely looking forward to getting things started at UMPI. This sub has been instrumental in guiding my decisions. I am curious to know how Sophia handles subscriptions that expire with referral credit that doesn't amount to the $99 fee. Does renewal include paying another $99 or the difference of the credit that was already in the account versus the $99 fee?
Hey All...I am curious to know if you are noticing any water cuts that are unusual? Like clock work on Thursdays, I am noticing that my water is running out (two tanks) where it didn't before. I find this to be really unusual. We haven't changed up our water usage at all, so I don't know why this is happening.
Does anyone know of companies that would allow students or career-changers to shadow a dev for a few hours to get an idea of the job in a real environment? Particularly, an AI Engineer?

On June 10th, I received a confirmation email from UMPI stating that they are in receipt of my application, they gave me a student number, and told me they would be in contact.

I know that they are inundated with requests, coming off a huge graduation, and other matters. My question, for those who have some insight, when might I expect someone to reach out to complete the process? I had my transcripts evaluated and sent to them already. At present, I am simply waiting to see if I am accepted. If accepted, then I can provide them with other transcripts and Sophia credits. Can I expect this soon, or will I be waiting a while? I don't mind because I would like to finish as much as possible via Sophia and Study before starting anyways. This is out of personal curiosity. Thanks for any assistance.
