From KCCI News, 1 confirmed fatality from the truck, another occupant was transported by air ambulance in serious condition.

From KJAN News, radio Atlantic Iowa:
The fatality was the truck driver’s 14 year old son. The man driving the truck was airlifted to the University of Iowa, while 2 crew members of the locomotive were treated for minor injuries at a local hospital. The collision caused both locomotives and at least twenty railcars to derail.
