Volunteer chainsaw work

Volunteer chainsaw work

Hey folks, I’m Zack, and I’ve been offering volunteer chainsaw work in GSO for years now. You can check my post history and my website linked in my bio for the sorts of storm response and tree work I’ve done in the community.

All I need are three things: pictures of the tree issue, an address, and permission from the property owner to come cut it up. If it’s something I can handle I’ll swing by after work one day and cut it up, and if it’s not something I can handle I’ll pass on info for folks who can.

For folks not on Reddit they can contact me through the website linked in my bio, bravez dot net. I am happy to volunteer my time and experience for folks in need, my only ask is to pass it on!

Hope y’all are safe and dry; Winston Salem neighbors!

I do volunteer tree work!

Hey folks, I'm Zack, and I offer volunteer tree work with an emphasis on storm damage. All I need is pictures of the tree fall, an address, and permission from the property owner to do the work and I'll come cut up what you have.

I don't turn away gifts or tips, and especially not while my church is doing it's debt jubilee project! All gifts and tips given to me during this project run will go towards buying and forgiving the medical debts of Forsyth, Guilford, and Davie county! I will send a screen shot of the donation confirmation :) Otherwise, you can just go to the link in my bio and click the "Change a life" button to donate directly.

I have a hand full of tree projects I am in contact with some of you about; as always the acute emergencies take precedent and I greatly appreciate your patience as I'm juggling the day job. I should see you soon, though.

Pictured: a trunk that cracked and fell. I will need to return to climb, rig, and cut the trunk above where it snapped to prevent damage to the fence.

Volunteer tree/storm response

Hey folks, I'm Zack, and I offer volunteer tree services for the Greensboro area. You can check my post history, or my website linked in my profile(you can email me from there too) for the sorts of stuff I can do. I have the most experience with trees and limbs already on the ground, but have a fair share of fellings under my belt. I am not a full blown tree service (yet), so I am limited to what I can do and will tell you if something should be addressed by the pros with crews and such.

All I need is pictures of the tree issue, an address, and permission from the property owner to cut up the tree. I'm not quite setup to haul (yet, if you're selling a work truck hmu) but am happy to cut logs small and even split them if you need it for firewood. I have friends who do haul so DM me if you need help. I have a small list of folks who want good firewood, so if you'd like to be added to that list let me know too.

I still have folks who haven't replied back with pictures and when and where to come check out their tree problems, if that's you this is your gracious reminder :)

I have a tree I'm going to cut in northern Greensboro soon, so if you're in that neck of the woods and need some help lmk! I have some requests from the community I haven't forgotten about, the Leland cypress, the yard work, and the organization project to name a few. Some projects are going to wait a bit longer until I'm more confident/proficient in my climbing, like the trunk in northern Greensboro and the Bradford Pears near downtown.

Thank God for the rain, and for the rest of it if a storm wrecks your home please lmk and I'll do what I can to help asap. I will drop my email in the comments for those of you who aren't on reddit, or like me, can't stand the messaging system of this app lol.

Be safe, and stay dry, GSO!

Volunteer tree work

Hey folks, I’m Zack, and I offer volunteer tree work for folks who have just enough tree to be a problem. I have the most experience with bucking and limbing trees and limbs already on the ground, but I have done some felling too.

You can check my website linked on my profile for examples of some of the more notable jobs, or simply check my post history. If you’re not on reddit, just go to my website and use the Contact Us feature to email me :)

I need three things to help someone:
-pictures of the tree (prefer to text)
-an address
-permission from the property owner

I have had many people reach out to me who have not answered back when I asked for details, so if you’re one of those people this is your reminder to reply to me, lol. Don’t feel bad if you feel awkward because it’s been a while!

I will scope every prospect in person to determine if I can do it safely or not.

I endeavor to pass on the kindness and help that has carried me through some impossible times when I needed so much more than I could ever afford. It’s a duty I love to fulfill and am eager to exercise.

If there’s a way I can help you please reach out, my only real ask is to pass on valuable help to your neighbor in need. We all love to do something, and it’s my sincere belief there’s people that need what you love doing so much you’d do it for free.

Anyway, be safe and stay dry, GSO.

I do volunteer tree work!

Hey folks, I’m Zack, and I like to volunteer my time for niche problems that are normally just too small for a system to catch and just too big to handle by yourself for folks in the Greensboro area.

My favorite work in this niche is tree work, particularly after storms pass through. I don’t have the industrial might of a proper tree service and crew, but I can normally buck and limb near about any tree in a day solo. I have a kind of portfolio of jobs on my website linked in my profile, or simply peruse my post history.

I need pictures, an address, and permission from the property owner to cut anything. If you aren’t in a rush, I have buddies that have been helping me by hauling.

I am starting to complete the life cycle of tree removal by burning the wood from previous jobs at the fire pit. If you have an appetite to byob and can handle folks venting about their poor treatment from the church, dm me and join us sometime!

If you need any kind of help otherwise, say something and I’ll see what I can do!

After the Blugrass festival, I’m convinced King David played the banjo for Saul

This was the annual bluegrass festival at Hagan Stone. It was wholesome, the weather was darn well near perfect and the performances were excellent. The family had a fantastic time.

I stepped on a decking screw that went through my shoe and about 1/2” of it came out wet. I depend on my feet to enjoy my life, so who is the best urgent care to trust their wellness to?

Ideally, I’d like an Urgent Care who can image and tell me if there’s tendon or bone damage and get a jump start on antibiotics. I’m hoping for a summer full of hiking and cutting trees.

My PC is out of office and their lack of urgency in response is suppressing my confidence. Not ER worthy either, with no obvious indication of structure damage, debris, or signs of infection. We also all have the flu, and am not eager to share.

It’s been cleaned and I regularly change the bandage, resting and staying off of it and all. It’s trending pretty good, it’s just not the kind of injury any prudent person should tough out or trust unfavorable providers with.

If my dr doesn’t have a plan for care by tomorrow I want to act on a well regarded good urgent care.

Thanks y’all, and I hope you can enjoy this rain for me!
