Any critique or advice for my atmospheric drawings
Hello everyone! I make comics but suck at backgrounds, shading, and lighting (but im getting better). I draw cartoony so I havent focused on anything but simple lighting! Ive done a college class that delt with perspective and lighting, but besides that I don't know what I'm doing!
I've been playing with multiply and glow layers for shadows and highlights! I know "less is always more" but I fear my lack of knowledge in shading makes me overcomplicate everything!
Im trying to get better at backgrounds and rendering this summer (hence the beach themed drawings)!
I feel like im always doing too much and overcomplicating the lighting which makes stuff look kinda flat! Also I feel like maybe my colors could be utilized better to convey the tempature of an enviorment!
Also im positive theres many perspective and anatomy errors in these and im open to critism and help with those too!
Oh wise ones please give me any knowledge and help!!!
