My paint brushes finally arrived today, so I thought I’d show off my little collection here! I have pencils, I have paints, I have brushes and I have fine liners! Am I missing anything? 👀
Trying to get back into journaling as I have been neglecting my sweet little journal over the past two-ish weeks, so I set up a new page and had a little journaling session! I’ve been a lurker on this sub Reddit for a longgg while, and decided to post about my little system finally!! I’m so curious if anyone else journals like this 🤩

White sticky note, Scissors & a glue stick!
It's my favorite method, and I thought I would share with you all! Of course this little mess up happened right as I was trying to get back into journaling after a little break/slacking off these past 2 weeks.. I was planning on posting some of my favorite journal pages after I had my journal session tonight, but this shall be my post instead 😅

Hello everyone!
Recently, I bought a MacBook Neo for college and decided that I should probably have some kind of backup in place. I also have an ASUS (Windows 11) laptop that I want to back up as well.
I learned how to do manual backups to an external hard drive a few years ago for my Windows laptop, and I was doing them every night at first. However, I quickly fell out of the habit of backing up consistently. Now, with a Mac in the mix, the external drive I have doesn't work as well because it doesn't plug into my Mac.
Now onto the Arq part. I use Obsidian.md for note-taking, and I'm in the Discord server as well. I was scrolling through one of the channels and saw Arq mentioned as a backup tool. I did some Googling, and now I'm interested, but still a little unsure. $59.99 is a lot of money for me (I'm unemployed, trying to save as much as I can, and will soon be a college student), so TL;DR: Is Arq worth it for someone like me, or in general? Should I skip the Premium version and save $9.99?
Please let me know what you all think! Any feedback is greatly appreciated. 🩷

Felt like painting something and practicing my gradients tonight, ended up with this! Pretty happy with it, though I wish it was a little more vibrant!

Hello! I recently bought this power bank in hopes of It charging my Neo & iPhone 12/17, but the battery life ended up not super great, and I got a refund after speaking to the company and having them tell me "yeah this won't get the neo to 100%." and I haven't had much luck finding one that would work with it. Is this not a common thing for Macs? This is my first one, so I guess I wouldn't really know. If you have any recs that are not extremely expensive, please let me know!! I'd like to have it mainly for peace of mind, but also in case it needs to charge and I'm not home. TYIA!
I got the Medium Pilot Kakuno first (clear), then the fine Kakuno (pink cap, white body) and most recently the Jinhao 100 medium (cream cap, pink body) which I have been calling my princess pen, lol. I also got my first bottle of ink with the Jinhao, it's Diamine flamingo pink!
I love all three pen very much 😄. The clear kakuno is my everyday pen, the pink & white kakuno is my og journal pen, and the jinhao is my 2nd journal pen.
I hope you all like my little collection :D! I want to get more of the Jinhao 100's because all the colors are sooo pretty, but I have to buy something to put more pens in first lol. I've been eyeing this, but haven't bought it yet. Inks also intrigue me greatly.. 👀
Hello! I'm working on a story that I'm currently calling "The Reunion". It's in the plotting phase, and I'm coming to you (my fellow writes) for help. This is the working description for it:
"A rich family is cursed. Every time they get together, someone dies. The last gathering was 20 years ago.. Until today; when a letter regarding death 2’s will calls everyone to death 2’s castle—but what happens when the doors suddenly lock, the lights go off, and someone drops dead? Drama, death, family."
As I said, working description haha 😅. Okay, anyway- the problem I'm having:
What actually is the curse? As in, the source of it. So far in my plot I have
- Death 1
- Death 2
- Flash forward 20 years, everyone gets a letter in the mail regarding death 2's will being found, and they're all called to the castle where death 2 lived
- The newest generation of kids in the family meet for the first time (I'm calling them the cousins.. because they are in fact, cousins)
- They decide they're over the curse, because they don't want their families to be apart anymore
- And then before they can do anything else, Miles (oldest(?) cousin) dies
I wrote in my notes, "Miles dies because everyone starts to argue, and the curse triggers when they argue." but I have nothing more than that regrading the curse or my plot.
TLDR: please help me generate some ideas for family curses, and their causes, because I cannot think of anything..

I'm OBSESSED with this laptop!!!! It's so cute, it's so light, and it's exactly what I wanted for when I start college in the fall! I got it just a few days ago, and I finally have it all set up and mostly organized the way I want it :D
To everyone who's been considering.. if you can, you should get it!! Make sure you do proper research and check it's what you need for what you want to use it for, but I highly recommend!! (More specifically the 512gb one, I really like the Touch ID!)
