I’m an international student and I finished high school about 2 years ago, and I’ve been accepted by the university of Nottingham Malaysia this year, for September 2026.
I’m concerned about whether or not I’m supposed to declare my study gap before applying for the student visa. The uni didn’t mention this as part of the required documents, so I’m not too sure.
If anyone has any advice, please do share! 🙂
I applied with Construction Engineering as my main undergraduate major on June 17. I did the AMP1 on June 25, and I got a 90 on that. I didn’t need to do the English placement test as I have an 8.0 on the IELTS. My high school percentage is a 99% and I’ve sent the equivalency letter as well.
From what I understood, decisions should’ve started coming out on July 1, but I saw people getting accepted long before that.
I’m worried that I might be too late, or that my course is full. My status still says “Application Submitted”. If anyone has any advice, please do let me know! 🙂
