Today’s Snack Plate

I’m really happy I stocked up on snacks the other day and didn’t stop myself! These are all really yummy and make me happy, today has been kinda discouraging in more ways then one but being able to make this plate kind of let me appreciate the small things I can do for myself.

Snack Plate & Drink:

  • albanese sugar free gummy bears
  • ripened jack fruit (Costco)
  • lesser evil himalayan pink salt popcorn
  • fanta zero

Is referring to ourselves as JD Candidates all that odd?

Saw this comment on r/medicalschooladmissions and thought it was interesting and honestly surprising. It seems on that sub people don’t like the idea of medical students referring to themselves as MD candidate since they don’t have a required dissertation like PhD programs but are awarded their degrees after they meet their course (and other) requirements. And I also understand that law students are similar in a way. However, to my understanding and how I and many others have been advised, law students are told to refer to themselves as JD Candidates and even put it in their resumes.

Knowing how our grad program differs from those that are similar to each other I still don’t think it’s a stretch to say we are candidates for a degree that needs to be awarded after completing certain unique requirements that aren’t applicable to other degrees. I don’t really care how medical students want to refer to themselves but I’m curious about others thoughts on this and wanted to share!

My favorite cold treat!! Water/Italian/Philly Ice

Goes by several names but each version is so good. I don’t like dairy ice cream too often because it irritates my throat but this is like frozen juice/liquid candy that’s been made scoopable. Texture is 10/10 AND watermelon (surprisingly) is my absolute favorite flavor of this brand.

Sorry the photo is kind of botched 💔

I GOT HIS E2 IN 120 AND HIS LC IN MY LAST TEN

I’m so happy right now this is so awesome. It’s my first time pulling for a character’s eidolons or lightcones and I’m so excited that it went well. Got fu xuan as my first five star when pulling and was wary how it’d go but everything worked out well. Hope everyone had amazing pulls today!!!
