Has anyone tried sending cold emails with personalised pitch decks or proposals?

I'm wondering if sending sales docs like pitch decks, proposals etc that are personalized to the receivers company is common or not practiced in early stage of sales lifecycle. If anyone has done it does it increase reply rates?

Looking for a cofounder strong in sales/marketing to lock in for the next YC batch

I’m a technical founder with multiple years of experience across SaaS, enterprise platforms, dashboards, AI workflows, and CRM-style systems.

I can handle product, engineering, architecture, AI workflows, and delivery. What I’m looking for now is the missing half:

A non-technical cofounder who can own sales, marketing, GTM, customer discovery, and revenue.

Ideally you are someone who:

  • has sold B2B before
  • understands cold outreach, founder-led sales, or agency sales
  • can talk to users every day
  • can create content and test positioning
  • is comfortable with rejection and iteration
  • wants to apply to the next YC batch
  • is ready to commit seriously for at least 12 months

This is not a “help me market my app” post.

I’m looking for someone who wants to build a real company together. Someone who can challenge the product direction, talk to customers, run outbound experiments, help close early users, and turn this from a built product into a business.

What I bring:

  • working product already built
  • senior technical ability
  • SaaS/product experience
  • AI workflow implementation
  • founder-level commitment
  • ability to build fast without outsourcing engineering

What I need:

  • GTM ownership
  • sales conversations
  • positioning experiments
  • user interviews
  • distribution
  • founder energy on the business side

Open to equity-based cofounder structure if there’s strong fit.

If you’re a sales/marketing person who has wanted to team up with a technical founder and actually build something serious, DM me

Not looking for agencies or consultants right now. Looking for a committed cofounder.
