Saw a special color pattern of the RUSH 24 in store only

I was in the 5.11 store near me and saw this color pattern on a RUSH 24. "Field Green". Its like an ODG on the front and gray on the sides. I didn't look too much further but thought it was interesting. I couldn't find it available online. This was at their Michigan store near Detroit.

Looking for guidance with retirement savings and new investments

Looking for a little guidance on retirement savings and some current investments

I'm in my early 30's and married. I work a gov job with a pension (minimum 60k, want as close to 100k as I can get) and make at least 120k a year. I have a 457b that I contribute 15% of my pay to (no match because of the pension). I started doing the ROTH 457b (still a yearly limit of 24.5k, contributed 12k this year) option a couple years ago after my traditional 457b was around 120k. I am not currently contributing any further to my traditional option. Now after some growth, sitting at about 220k total (160k traditional 60k ROTH). The return since inception is 13.48%. Once they equal each other, I'm planning to drop my total contributions to either 14% or 10% and split the contributions to be equal to each (this is what makes sense in my head to have the option for either but I'm not stuck to it).

After reading on r/Bogleheads and here, I changed my funds around but I wanted to make sure I was on the right track.

I initially changed to the following:

- PRUIX 34%

- VITAX 33%

- VEMAX 33%

Those were as best as I could get to a Boglehead three fund portfolio. Or so I believe. Then I thought about it some more and changed to 60% VITAX and 40% PRUIX.

Here are the funds I have available. Unfortunately this is through TRowe Price so a lot of the recommended Vanguard funds are not available.

After changing my contributions again, I'm thinking about going to 100% PRUIX since its the S&P 500 fund and I'll just leave it at that for the next 20 years.

Outside of my retirement, we have 20k in an emergency fund in a HYSA. 50k in CD's and are getting a gift of 20k. We're thinking to invest that 20k into a brokerage account. I'm looking at Vanguard and am planning to go 100% VTI for it. My partner has a ROTH IRA that they haven't contributed much to before being married and haven't contributed since due to my larger contribution to the 457b.

Should we be moving more of our money from CD's into the brokerage account (or a different account)? I'm also looking at moving my HYSA to a Vanguard Cash Plus account so it's more accessible for investments when we get extra (we make monthly deposits into our savings account), is this smart? We may move in the next 5 years but other than that no big changes planned (except for children).

We have no debt except for our mortgage and we'll be starting a state 529 plan soon for our first.

I feel like we have a good handle on our finances but we could always be doing better. Thank you for the advice!

Trying to get started

Like other people, I've looked at 3D printing as a possible source of income. I have ideas I want to print and I am trying to come up with a direction I would want to go. When searching those ideas in Etsy, it's a little overwhelming to see all of the creative and artsy forms of those same ideas listed multiple times. I am somewhat creative but I would not say I am artsy.

Does anyone else have some kind of block when trying to start out? Or am I looking at this wrong and really need to go more of a "useful" direction rather than something more creative in an already oversaturated market? I realize there's no single product that would be a money marker (other than articulating dragons) and if there was, nobody would share it because they would be printing money for themselves lol.

This also could be due to having limited experience in the actual designing or printing aspect of this. I was printing on an Ender 3 but passed it along to a family member. I was going to buy on the Bambu anniversary sale but life hasn't really allowed for adding a printer to the house right now. This all could be more of an experience issue that would solve itself over time.

Are people dropping 350 Legend? Whats the caliber to move to?

Are people going to be dropping 350 Legend now that the rifle line is removed? I have a 350 Legend upper that I'm getting rid of elsewhere. Mainly in favor of a non-AR platform (even though I do like that) for better suppression. I like the idea of the CVA single shot scout rifles or something else that could suppress better. Is 308 going to become the statewide unofficial standard? Or is 30-30 going to make a comeback.

Need help with placement on a small shed - Michigan

https://preview.redd.it/mueczff8kj3h1.jpg?width=5712&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=163fcf2e8ec5928c82c6001e004f8684d283c0f6

I bought a solar powered fan with battery pack - amazon.com/dp/B0GHTNHMBF?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

My problem is, I am having trouble figuring out where to place the panel. The south end is not visible in the attached picture. However you can see that it is completely blocked by shrubbery. I am between placing it on the north slope or the west slope. I've tried to use the other recommended websites or even one that shows a heat maps on roofs. My shed is not on an updated satellite picture so that doesn't show.

Any advice on placement? This picture was at 4:30pm today (5/26). There are vents on each side (east/west). I had planned to stick the fan on the inside of the shed and have it blow air to the east. Although I'm sure it could go on either side really.
