Thoughts on People or Profit update- console

I've played through the main story a few times now. I had no complaints before, other than the rat quest is a bit ambiguous and comes late.

Ive got 2 saves going, one for each main big path choices. Mostly played "for the people" one.

Pros:

Story content- new and clearly different personalities for the new additions. Fits with existing story

the expanded recycling- gives more variety and makes so much sense with the story.

The *idea* of humane work requirements of Chester

New items

Cons:

SO many items. This causes issues, explained more later.

Chester isn't as helpful. With the more limited hours and Sunday's off, AND all the new items stocking is no longer relaxing and eats time. I think we should've been able to hire Grace or someone else to help meet our Supermarket dreams.

Days feel too short now if you get a few more items than the main story. Let alone trying to do all the new quests.

Pathing while shopping. The customers already had issues getting back to the big coolers or not seeing items right next to them. This is worse with more items, especially if you don't have the deepest bins to minimize the amount of them, or theyre stacked vertically.

Pockets/item stacking. The stack of 5 limit makes them feel up so fast between picking up trade deal items and the new recyclables. Wouldn't be such an issue if days were longer or if the stacks could be bigger than 5. I causally get more than 5 drift wood at the Harbor often. I know it could be too big of an ask for bigger stacks so I'd take 2-3 more pockets. Could fill the bottom of the screen though doing that.

I'm still enjoying it but it's about as relaxing as the first year in a stardew like game. I also swear there use to be a backdoor to the shop that came with an expansion but I may be misremembering that. The devs are doing a good job fixing bugs and making the game in general, so I'm not going anywhere. Anything else that you've noticed?

Making a non spoiler tip list

I'm in the process of putting together a general FAQ/tips for Poktopia. I see a ton of the same questions being asked here and my other groups. But this game doesn't seem to have one of those guides like many of my non cozy games.

I have categories for building, habits, homes, and quality of life tips so far. Thinking maybe a beginner to mid to end game tip sections. Anything else I should have?

And I'd appreciate help finding them all too. So id love if yall would share your favorites/ah ha! ones so I don't miss anything yall need.
