how to make good looking 2d figurines?

iam fairly new to tts, ive been meaning to try out making some custom figurines, but i don't like the base and image clip? and don't think i know how to change it.
are there hidden things i can do with the custom figurine in tts or is the 2d figure on the right an outright 3d model like i am suspecting?

error with skraper/recallbox

iam not sure whether this is the right place to ask, but i figured its good first place to ask since i am using this model.
ive been using it for 2 years now, the skraper thing worked as intended up until the last update where it stopped working. I tried reinstalling it, reconfigure it, but nothing is working and i couldn't find anything online about this problem.
