Was Dan the most robbed player in survivor history

Dan clearly had the right funeral attire and Julie Chob me decided to change the rules mid challenge because he was an adopted child.

Minorities’ success on Big Brother vs Survivor

It took Big Brother 15 seasons to produce its first openly gay winner and 23 seasons to produce its first black winner, yet on Survivor it took only 1 and 4 seasons, respectively. Considering Survivor at the time had similar casting to Big Brother with respect to minorities (that is, one or two homosexuals and one or two black players) why is there such a disparity between the amount of time it took for the two shows to produce their first gay/black winners?

(I realize it also took Big Brother only 4 seasons to produce a non-white winner, which is why I ask specifically about black players as opposed to all racial minorities.)

Fears of an icons steamroll

People are worried about an impending steamroll by the “icons” now that Devens has the Diamond Power of Veto, but I do not think they should be concerned yet. It’s still early in the season, and as we saw last week, just because Devens has power doesn’t mean he and his allies will use it optimally. And if anyone were to go rogue and make a “big move” against his own alliance, it would be him. That’s not to mention the last time a Diamond POV was used was during an existing steamroll, and it (at least partially) broke up the alliance after Matt tried to make a big move with it. I could just as easily see that happening to The Toolshed, which is nowhere near as tight as the Brigade was.

If it were up to me, I’d wish there were no powers. But in all, I think it’s still too early to be concerned. History has shown Devens + power (esp. the Diamond POV) can still screw up. Does anyone else feel this way?

Yul on a Google advertisement

Look who appeared on the front page of my Google Chrome app. Sort of random, but I’m not complaining.

The biggest strategic breakthrough since BB16

What has been the biggest strategic breakthrough since BB16? I mention that season in particular because I think of Derrick’s “onion alliance” as somewhat of a mainstay in modern BB.

As far as what one would consider a “strategic breakthrough”, I think of things like:

- BB2 Will throwing competitions

- BB3 Jason and Danielle forming a secret alliance

- BB4 Jun and Alison floating between sides

- BB5 Backdoor

- BB12 Brigade-style alliance where each member has partner outside the alliance

- and, of course, BB16’s onion alliance

Power/Punishment competition

If you’re watching the feeds, you’ll know this season has so much momentum. The house seems divided, but I’m worried Sunday’s new power/punishment competition is going to give one side too much power (most likely the Crossovers). How do we feel about the house dynamics, and does anyone else worry about the twist ruining it?

Which Survivors do you think will be on Big Brother 28?

I think it could be one of these three, but I’m worried they’ll be voted out early

What’s with the sudden love for Jasmine?

I remember watching BB24 and people did NOT like Jasmine in the real time. She had some funny memes likes Muffingate, but mainly I remember people hating her fake, forced southern accent in the DR and her rude comments about Taylor. That’s not to mention her being a nonfactor strategically. Now, however, I feel like I’ve seen quite a few people online who say they want her to return. What gives?

Is Zach Wurtenberger the unluckiest Survivor player in history?

How is he not considered the unluckiest Survivor player of all time? He had to watch his brother make it past one vote, get a girlfriend, and play with Cirie! Brutal.
