Supergroups whose whole never came close to the sum of their parts?

I love RATM and Soundgarden, but Audioslave took one of the best rock singers of all time, paired him with instrumentalists who could craft a riff and a groovy beat as well as anyone, and made... some of the most generic radio rock music ever. This band's best music has a hard time coming close to the worst from either RATM or SG.

Any other examples of this?

[Underhill] Cam is returning for “one final season”

So happy he’s finishing his career here, but man is it going to hurt when he’s gone.

Communication on the pitch - what language(s) are used at the club level, and what could force the language of choice to be changed?

This isn't a rules question, but more of a "What's the common practice?" question that came to mind after watching a few World Cup matches. Obviously, we hear the players communicating in their country's native language during the WC, but how is communication usually handled at the club level? Does it typically vary by team or by league?

For some teams, it may be obvious - I'm an Arsenal fan, and I can recall hearing them communicate in English during broadcasts. This makes sense not only because they're based in an English-speaking country, but also because many of their key players are native English speakers.

But as a counterpoint, take Inter Miami, for example. About half the team, as well as their coach, are from countries in which Spanish is the national language. Add to this that most of the Miami area is likely bilingual, and it makes perfect sense that the team would primarily communicate in Spanish (please correct me if this isn't the case; I don't watch Inter Miami matches).

I don't watch too much Ligue 1, Serie A, Bundesliga, Eredivisie, etc., so I'm not sure how this is handled in other leagues. Do teams usually default to the language of the location they're in? If so, what do they do when a superstar doesn't speak that language? For example, what if CR7 were like Messi and spoke very little English? What would Man United have done while he was there?

This is a completely inconsequential question that was only borne out of my own odd curiosity. Appreciate any thoughts or insight anyone may have!
