Is there a way to get rid of tree roaches? If so, what brand? Please help I’m going crazy! I feel icky. (Suburban home)

Hello, I need some help. I’m wondering if there is maybe a yard spray to prevent them from coming into our yard and into the house. Our foundation is pretty bad right now and I don’t think it’s gonna get fixed at all. Every day I’m killing multiple big big tree roaches. And they fly. I believe they are coming through my bathroom drain/tile because I have open tile that hasn’t been fixed. Along with some new holes in the house due to foundation issues.

My neighbor does pest control. But she is very busy right now caring for her paraplegic daughter.

I’m pretty irritated. I was just trying to wash the dishes and there was one in the corner of my eye that went under the dishwasher (we don’t use the dishwasher). I went underneath the sink for a roach spray and lo and behold there is another big tree roach. I’m going crazy. I grew up with German roach infestations in most of my homes so it’s caused me to be a neat freak and deep clean like crazy. But, this house isn’t perfect, so I can’t get in every crevice and honestly refuse to (scared of what I might find).

I was even considering turning my bed into a Japanese floor mattress for my back problems. But somebody pointed it out to me that they could easily crawl up into my bed with me—so now I’m definitely not doing that.

Any ideas on restoring this vintage wood dresser?

So I got this dresser for free, it’s a beautiful vintage wood. Clearly someone’s daughter carved a bunch of stuff all over it. I was thinking magic erasers would maybe help, but I’m not sure if it would ruin the wood more due to chemicals in magic erasers. Also clearly there’s deep enough carvings so is it worth my time or should I just clean it up and give it away to someone else? I would like to sell it or keep it but I feel this might just be done for because of the carvings:(

I have an interview coming up next week! I’m so excited and grateful to my mom for helping me. I pretty much have the job because my mom is very respected at her hospital. The job isn’t anything crazy, I just need money and am trying to get into the hospital to maybe get my school paid for by them. I’ll maybe get $14-$16 an hr. Pray for me that I could maybe get a better pay rate🙏! My last job I made $17 an hr so it’s gonna be hard for me to take less, but at least I will be making money.

I usually do eyeliner every day, but of course if it’s OK to wear eyeliner to the interview, I will be doing a very cute thin lined one. nothing too crazy.

I have a beautiful grey blazer with shoulder pads, but I’m not sure what undershirt & pants to wear? I’d appreciate some ideas or picture references. Also, it is hard for me to find shoes right now that don’t look like they belong on a 60-year-old going to church. I’m size US 22- & shoes are size 10 so most shoes end up looking like big ole clown shoes. Thx so much if you read this far🫶
