It was so cold this morning! I had to get cozy.

SO I got this dress and I love it! My only issue is I’m having a really hard time styling it and feeling confident in the ways I’ve tried to style it.

I’ve tried a graphic tee on top knotted to give it shape, I did just a black shirt underneath, I did just a white shirt underneath…and I end up not liking the outfit every time! I love this dress and want to make it work so bad. It’s so comfy but I feel it on its own is too plain and I want to be more of a grunge alt look…happy to take shoe suggestions too.

EDIT: I’m focused on the warm part because I’m in the US in a very hot and humid part of the country. I also have chronic illnesses that result in pretty bad heat intolerance so a temperature that most people find comfortable I find warm, if they’re cold then I’m probably comfortable lol it can also make it hard to do my hair and makeup

Also, I work as a therapist so im leaning to more comfortable clothes but still authentic to what I like. We’re allowed to wear jeans and so I do from time to time but since its been so ungodly warm and humid I’ve been wearing dresses more recently (-:

I’m in Ontario Canada I’ve thrifted two different dresses from this brand and I’d love to get more but I can’t find them anywhere online do you recognize these tags from somewhere if so I’d love to know where!

I thrifted this skirt in a color I don't normally wear because I like the fit. It's not quite pink pink but definitely not red. What color tops and tights/shoes would you recommend? I was going to try a white top next maybe.
