Why checklists are important OR Have a laugh at my expense

So last night I was messing around with the Hornet in singleplayer, just relearning things and generally goofing off. I'd taken a break from DCS for like 18 months, and finally decided to get back into it. Anyway, I get everything started up, take off from the carrier, and had just gotten to cruising altitude when Betty goes BINGO. "What fresh hell is this?" Huh, where is all my fuel?! Turns out, due to a keybinding mistake, my fuel dump switch was set to on and I had not noticed. I think it had been on from the very beginning too....

So let this be a lesson - check your fuel before takeoff. Even when you're just messing around. Because otherwise you'll have to restart everything.

Side note if there are any casual groups out there who could use an absent minded idiot who owns too many modules (F-4, F-16, F-18, AV8B, M2000C, A-10CII, AH-64, JF-17, F-14), let me know. I live in US, central time zone. I also have some experience with mission building and server hosting.

When the notice popped up, I thought that I was receiving a threat. This is from "WinRed", a GOP insanity fueled "donation" platform. I constantly get their texts. This one has crossed a line with me. Is there any way for me to trace the SMS provider and try to lodge a complaint for spam and potentially threatening messages?

I decided to get back into DCS after a long hiatus. I started off with my TrackIR the other day just to get familiar, but I want to get back to using my VR headset. I have it working, but I get this odd... shimmering and distortion/jumping that is very distracting. Especially when I look at text - like my pilot's kneeboard in the F18. System specs:

Windows 11 25H2

i7 13700k

64 GB DDR5 RAM (cannot remember the speeds/timings)

AMD 6950XT

Reverb G2 - not sure if v1 or v2, if that matters

All the guides I've been able to find thus far for suggested settings are either many years old, or reference WMR (which I can't use, due to 25H2). I remember way back when, using OpenXR toolkit to make adjustments to things. Do I need that still? Are there any settings I can adjust to help with the shimmering and jumping/tearing?

Note - I would love to upgrade headsets. But I also need to upgrade GPU's. So I may do that in the future, but at the moment I would love to get my hardware to work.
