practice management software for therapy scheduling, what to use?

i transitioned to full time solo practice recently and my caseload is finally full, but handling my appointment calendar is taking up way too much admin time between sessions. i am currently juggling scheduling, intake paperwork, and portal links through separate apps, which frequently leads to double bookings or late reschedules. i already tried setting clear booking boundaries and sending manual reminder emails, but managing recurring weekly slots alongside sliding scale clients is still an administrative nightmare.

i am looking to move everything into a single HIPAA compliant platform so i can automate self scheduling and client intake workflows. for those in private practice, what practice management software actually cleared up your calendar chaos, and how easily do your clients handle self rescheduling through the portal? i would also love to know if automated sms reminders noticeably cut down on your no shows, or if there were any frustrating setup limitations you hit during data migration.

AG1 alternative? Any ones find something that works just as well for less?

My Information:

Age/Sex: 32M

Body Stats:

5'10, 175 lbs

Lifestyle:

Work a desk job, lift 3-4x a week, sleep could be better (6-7 hrs most nights)

Out of Range Biomarkers:

Vitamin D was low last time I got bloodwork done (about 8 months ago), everything else was in range

Family History or Personal Health Risks:

Nothing major, dad has high blood pressure but mine has been fine

Goals:

General health optimization, better energy throughout the day, gut health

Supplements:

Currently taking AG1 daily for about 6 months, fish oil, and vitamin D3 (5000 IU). Considering dropping AG1 for something more cost effective or building my own stack

Questions:

Looking for an AG1 alternative that covers similar ground without the price tag. Open to switching to another greens product or just doing individual supplements instead. Just need some tips or advice.

psa for new solo livers, get a real chair before you get a couch

moved into my first place alone in feb. bought a couch immediately because thats what you do. spent 8 months reading and eating and watching tv slouched on it and wrecked my lower back.

last week i finally got a chair for the corner by the window. like a stupid one with a footrest. its already my favorite spot in the apartment. i sit upright now and actually finish books instead of falling asleep at 9pm.

if youre furnishing a place solo the order matters more than people say. bed first obviously. then a chair where you can sit and be a person. couch can wait
