We do not need to take [TRAIT] actor to play [TRAIT] character in a movie/TV Show

What is the point if I take a blind actor in order to play a blind character ?

Where is the so-called "acting" ?

Apply this for any [Sexual preference], [Religion] or [Nationality Trait] and even some [Physical trait or disability].

[Sexual preference] is not visible, and by that I mean that If you drop dead, and I do not know you, I can't figure.

If I'm able to figure somehow, well, you are just "cosplaying" your so-called [Sexual preference], and anyone can wear your clothes, just saying and this also apply for [Religion] or [Nationality Trait].

It makes absolutely NO sense, especially the [Nationality Trait] : I had a friend the was foreign, and when I asked, He told me he was swede. Weeks later, some others friends laughed at me and said that I was gullible because he was in fact Moroccan. But, to me, he could be whatever because he could have been born in Sweden or been naturalized swede.

If I take a [Age][Sexual preference][ethnicity][Job] to "play" an all same [Age][Sexual preference][ethnicity][Job] character... this is no acting, more like reality / re-enactment.

And If I push the logic of the people advocating for "only [this specific people] should play [this specific character] to the very end", it would be just ridiculous, and almost impossible to make a so-called "proper" movie.

Also, people used to get acting price when they played a [trait] they did not have in a convincing manner.

Should we give people prize for being themselves in movies ? I do not think so.

And if we let it go that way, soon we'll get only "true sounds", only "true hair", or "true whatever is hype currently" movie ?

Some movies were made in a single continuous shot, with only natural lights and everything. I was more of an art performance/artistic choice than anything else.

Almost by definition, unless a documentary, everything in a movie can be fake and exist only to convey the story.
