Having a colonoscopy is an overall good experience. You go to sleep and have the most incredible, lights-out nap imaginable. Like you're dead for an hour or two. Then, when you awake, a nice nurse brings you crackers and ginger-ale. Finally, your spouse or a good friend arrives to take you home. A day later (hopefully) you get a message that you're all good down there. If not, you get information that allows you to treat whatever condition you didn't know about before and probably save your life.

Overall 10/10. I do recommend.
