Is it too much?

I got a lash lift yesterday and I gotta admit I panicked and felt like it was way too high. This is what it looks like today, does it look bad or too high? Or does it just feel weird because it's quite a drastic change. My lashes usually point straight down, almost closing my eye.

Avoiding scams?

I am traveling to multiple EU countries and the UK soon. While planning, I have noticed so many scam websites; this is just one of the examples when I'm trying to apply for the UK ETA. It is obvious when they are under sponsored results, but not every legit website has a check mark or is verified. I've especially noticed this with French attractions as well; there will be 4-5 sponsored fake pages, and then I have to scroll way down to get the official website.

I haven't planned a trip for a while, but last time there certainly weren't all of these scam websites everywhere. I'd like to think I'm somewhat literate and aware when it comes to the internet, so it makes me sad to think of all the older folks who probably fall victim to these sites.

Is there anything I can do? Reporting the site doesn't seem to do anything, and since it's international idk if anything can be done. Any tips for ensuring sites are legit?

Scale accuracy

I recently got the litter robot 4 and I love it. Everything is pretty good, smooth set up, good app functions, etc. My only concern is the weight. Im not sure if my cats are really fluctuating .4-.8 pounds at a time. It'll go from like 11.2 to 10.8 which seems like a lot to fluctuate within a single day. I have it on a hard wood floor and nothing underneath it, litter is at the ideal level too. Is the scale not really as accurate? Or is this level of fluctuation normal?

Litter Genies

I have two litter genies that I cleaned up, a bunch of refills, and no friends to give them to. I don't want to give them to Goodwill. They work perfectly fine; I got a Litter-Robot and just don't have any use for them now. Is there a rescue I can give them to? Maybe an adoption center? Any cat owners in need? Preferably somewhere near Cedar Hills?

6 month zepiversary!!!!

Its my 6 month anniversary of taking zepbound, I started at 256lbs and I'm now at 226lbs. Goal weight is somewhere south of 190 because I am muscular. I just can't believe how much this medication has changed my life, and I'm still only on 5mg.

I did diet after diet, and it felt like all I was born to do was hold onto weight. I grew up with a strange relationship with food, and severe class 3 obesity in the family. I knew it was time for a change, and I was lucky enough to afford to pay out of pocket; so I bit the bullet.

I have MCAS, and zepbound (and probably losing some weight) has improved my symptoms A LOT. I feel so much better, and I am so proud of myself and motivated to keep going. I was able to tolerate heat a lot better than I ever could. I am someone who had heat exhaustion from summer heat, and got to the point I needed a disability placard to avoid the outdoors as much as humanly possible. I no longer have prickly sensations all over my body. And my lab values have improved a lot! Histamine is lower, tryptase is back in a normal range, WBCs are normal again for the first time in years. Another benefit I got was it reduced my sensitivity to food? I used to have such bad IBS, and I would have loose and water stool daily. I don't get the runs after I eat anymore, and I don't have the crazy cramping and loose stools like I used to.

Now I do have some side effects. I get some acid reflux, but nothing pepcid and tums can't fix. I am also crazy cold sometimes. Like I just cannot warm up. My skin will be cold to the touch, and I will layer a ridiculous amount. I notice it's worse when I'm more sedentary. I also got the welts at my injection site when moving to the 5mg dose. But thanks to the tips on this subreddit I can avoid them now!

If you read this far thank you. I just had to share my progress and feelings so far with someone. I'm so glad I made the leap.
