Well, this may be your lucky day, because the same thing happened to me, over and over. Let’s see if we can change that.

I’m a roleplayer who enjoys playing canon characters. I love researching them, and then writing them as accurately as possible. I am willing to go on a RP journey with any enthusiastic fandom roleplayer, but I do have some rules:

1. No live action fandoms. That includes movies, series and even games that have realistic graphics. I want our characters to be highly drawable. Also, the more popular the fandom, the better.
2. I pick the character I’m playing. This is a mutual collaboration, I’m not doing a service to anyone, nor do I do doubling. You pick a character (OC or CC, either is fine) and I pick a character, based on your character.
3. There is no third rule regarding fandom picking, but everyone always has at least three rules.

Now, for the roleplaying side, I enjoy themes like romance, slice-of-life, drama, angst, and maybe some action elements as well. I also don’t have anything against rewriting the canon plot in our own style if you’d be into that, or something new.
As for the writing part, I try not to be too demanding, so as long as you can give me something to work with (no one-liners), I’ll do the same to you. It’s only fair, right?
I enjoy talking OOC, especially headcanons about the RP, plots, characters, etc. I am absolutely looking to make a friend. It makes the roleplays themselves so much better.

I spent a good amount of time writing an ad for a fandom rp, detailing my own preferences, explaining the ideas I had, and yet… I end up getting replies from people who didn’t read a word of it.
Asking for different fandoms…
Asking for things I said I’m not interested in doing…
One guy mistook me for a woman, even though I had [M4F] in the ad title. Yes, he didn’t even read the title. That one still baffles me.

Roleplaying is a hobby that involves writing and reading. That’s literally the basis of it. You’re sending a bad message by not reading the ad for something that’s all about reading. Why would I agree to RP with someone who didn’t even bother to read and comprehend the ad? If they have trouble with the ad, how would they handle the actual RP?
Wait… I know how. They’ll just write about their own character, godmodding my characters to fit their narrative, all while treating me as a bot or something.
That’s the kind of impression people give when they don’t read the ad before replying.

Hello there! I’m looking for someone who would be interested in doing a fandom RP set in the Bleach universe. I recently finished watching the anime and I found myself craving it.

Don’t worry, I didn’t come here unprepared, I have an actual idea for the setting. The idea revolves around Arrancars. Something about them being inhuman, and yet humanlike speaks to me. That, and I’m a fan of monster romances in RPs.
Anyway, the idea is this:

The surviving Arrancars were stuck in Hueco Mundo, unable to reach the next level of their existence. But with the biological know-how of a certain pink-haired psycho (yes, Szayelaporro survived in this story. How? He probably infected another Arrancar with a virus that turned them into him on a cellular level), they are given a chance to look like somewhat ordinary humans and take over the human world. At least, that was the plan.

That’s the premise of my side of the characters. I plan to play Grimmjow as my main character, but I would be more than willing to play the other surviving Arrancars as supporting characters.
As for you, you can play any character you want. It can be an OC or a canon character, as long as it fits. It’s meant to be open-ended, so that we can brainstorm together. That’s the beauty of roleplaying for me.

There should be plenty of dark themes involved, as well as romance, drama, angst, and of course slice-of-life moments. I really want to dig into it when it comes to that.
NSFW elements would be present (meaning, you have to be 18+), but not to the point of taking over the entire RP. The plot takes priority.

What kind of RP partner am I looking for? Well, I’ll always give priority to those who show enthusiasm. I love enthusiastic RP partners. It gives me motivation to keep going and feel excited about writing it. To that end, if you love talking OOC, that’ll be a big bonus. I see my RP partners as my friends. So yappers are welcome!
I’m not overly concerned with the reply length as long as it’s not one liners. I can’t work with one-liners.
Absolutely no AI in writing. And don’t think you can trick me, I’ll catch you. No AI images either. I’ll draw your OC myself for free if you need it, just don’t use any slop please.
