New guy...

Im transitioning from being a custom fabricator/welder into a cnc shop because im getting old and cant lug heavy steel anymore. I worked a cnc shop as an operator like 20 years ago and have the general gist of things. Have been using hand mills and lathes throughout my whole career. Currently taking a solid works class and flying through it. Very interested in CloudNC. The shop I am going to work in has some old timers that are very open to teaching their tribal knowledge.

Question is... what's your guy's advice on how to educate myself in my own time, learn from the old timers and possibly stay "one step ahead" of the fast moving technology that is developing around the CNC industry.

Thank you in advance for your time.

New brass

Very excited about my first Alpha brass.

Have some 120ttsx on the way for hunting season.

Got some H4350

CCI BR-2

Seekins Element Hunter in 6.5.

I have only ever reloaded recycled 2nd shot brass from factory ammo.

How would you proceed?

I got a seekins element hunter. Got it mainly for hunting use but like to shoot a Big Boar Silhouette match every once in a while. Worked up a load with 120 ttsx and some H4350. Shooting .6 moa groups at 100.

NOW.... im testing cold bore shots for hunting season, fucken dead on BUT 2nd shot is kinda unreliable. Same round but with a warm barrel shoots tight.

I have my ideas, what do you guys think?
