I had the wonderful fortune of waking up a few weeks ago and experiencing a swollen knee that I couldn’t bend. After a steroid injection and continued PT, the ortho drained the knee of a little fluid, but it def helped the stiffness. My problem is the soft tissue above my knee continues to be swollen despite an anti-inflammatory, icing, and elevation. Ortho doesn’t have a great answer but says it’s synovial fluid being pushed out of the joint. Does anyone have experience with MLD in assisting reducing the fluid? Open to any options as it’s frustrating.

I received some free samples of the Eminence Organics facial oil and was pleasantly surprised at how my skin responded and looked after incorporating it into my routine. The two issues I have are the slightly unpleasant smell and also the price point. I’m fine with spending more here and there, but $89 for oil? Curious if anyone would suggest an oil in the same vein or one that generally works for them.

I need a bit of advice from the experts! My husband received a well deserved promotion from professor to department chair, and the work bag he’s been using for a decade needs to go. I would love to gift him something mid-luxury as he’s not one to fuss with luxury brands, but it the bag itself needs to be able to put in the work. Laptop, computer accessories, one million pens, and everything else he can cram in there. Doesn’t necessarily need to be leather. He’s a tall broad man, so something that might balance out his stature. Any recs on bags or brands would be unbelievably appreciated! It’s overwhelming trying to look at everything, so I wanted to reach out to the knowledge source.
