The Hobbit Play Booster Box

I’m about to look at a couple PBB for The Hobbit at $20-30 under market. Anything I should be looking out for in terms of whether they’re resealed or not? I’m debating even just paying for one box that I’m willing to open, then paying for the rest. I’ve looked through some of the sealed posts here and I can’t see any “tell tale” signs.

The Hobbit Availability

I just got back into Magic the start of the year after several years hiatus. I wasn’t around when LOTR released but we’ve seen how that ended up with its current prices. That being said I can only assume that the Hobbit set will be printed to the ground but with all the hype around LOTR in general will there be scarcity in getting product? How was it when LOTR released? Was it pretty available during its cycle/post release?

Certified ReNew Experience?

Has anyone had any experience with Certified ReNew products with Epson? I see they come with a full year warranty and a 30 day return policy. You get a ton of savings this way and as a beginner this is probably the best option to get into a better printer at a fraction of the cost.

Marvel Super Heroes, thoughts?

Personally I’m liking a lot of the comic book looking cards. Wish they did more of this with Spider-Man but as a comic book fan this set looks fun. Better than anticipated what are your thoughts?

Looking to buy

Want to buy this card. Unfortunately these are the best photos seller was able to get me. The card looks off but would someone really be faking lower priced cards? In regular foiling?

Gold Stamped Promo?

I saw a listing for the following. What’s a gold stamped card? Is this a promo? I can’t find any info online.

Printer step under 8550

I’ve been browsing the sub and YouTube and have seen the 8550 be touted as the king but what would be the best step down version of this machine? Not sure I want to shell out 8-900 bucks on a printer and would prefer learning on a machine probably half the price first. Not sure the ROI or quality between mid tier and high tier to be of a $400 difference.
