First time purchasing a print, feels tacky, looking for advice

Hey all and sorry if this is a commonly asked about scenario, I looked and found a thread or two asking similar questions but wanted to make sure I was being safe and that I was not going to hurt/break the model.

I ordered two prints online and they are listed as using an ABS-like resin. They are also listed as being “fully washed and cured” but that they will need “minor cleanup and filing,” which is all well and good. However, I noticed right before cleaning them up that they felt tacky to the touch, so I washed my hands thoroughly and put on gloves (not sure if this is necessary?). Taking the plastic handle of a paintbrush, I *very* gently pressed against the bottom of the model to test its rigidity and it immediately and very easily left a divot, so I figured something was wrong and I’ve set the models aside for now.

I’m wondering if that’s to be expected with this material, or if that is wrong and I should cure it further, either in the sun or with a UV light? And should I do this before continuing to clean the model up?

Thanks :)
